"Yes, I will, I'll call the doctor in the morning," Celeste said with a nod, wondering now though if they should or not. Things were not as simple as she'd like them to be. In fact, they were getting more and more complicated and she wasn't sure she liked even Ria knowing Ain was here... Oh well, the fates couldn't be changed.

"Thank you again, Ria. I totally understand.. Do you have children then?" Celeste asked curiously, at the same time passing Ain the cold pack so he could put it on his ankle when she heard the babysitter part.

Hiatus
Ria observed as Ain hopped to the bed and pressed the ice against his swollen ankle. Then she turned her attention, or what was left of it, towards Celeste. Ain's fear aura or whatever it was was chipping away at her concentration and Ria's already tired mind had trouble keeping up.
"I...I, uh, don't. Little pest, I mean, sister. Excuse me, I'm slightly distracted by his fear aura. The effect is enhanced due to my exhaust."
Ria rubbed her temple a bit but them she straightened her back and returned her usual firm, steely look in her eyes.
"I must take my leave."
Ria turned to Ain and nodded to him.
"Celeste is good to you. Avoid worrying her too much."
Ria didn't know why she said that, but maybe it had to do with the fact that she was also always worrying for someone.
Ria nodded at Celeste and head to the door.

Ain had started to notice that the tired girl was starting to have a hard time being near him and his dark aura, in truth it was only a matter of time, even the strongest minded people can withstand mental attacks like that forever. When Ria spoke, he noted that she had a sister, but she was too tired to hold a conversation for long and even mentioned his dark aura to Celeste. 'Oh, she mentioned my cursed aura,' he looked to Celeste to see her reaction for a second then back to Ria when she said she was leaving.

When Ria mentioned to Ain that Celeste was good to him, he already knew that, to avoid worrying her was just common sense; common sense that he lacked apparently. He nodded to Ria to confirm he understood and went to raise his arm to wave goodbye, recoiling as the pain of his shoulder jolted through him - he stopped midway, 'Right, hurt shoulder..'

Before Celeste could say or ask anything else of the blond girl, Ria, she was gone out the door. Closing the door firmly before locking it, Celeste thought about what she had just said about her sister and something about an aura - which Celeste knew nothing about because auras rarely, if ever, affected her.

Glancing at Ain, who was now on the bed with his feet up and the ice pack on his ankle, she wondered, "What did she mean by a fear aura? Are you cursed by chance?" she asked, now beginning to wonder if the elf she had helped was really as innocent as he seemed - people didn't have fear auras because they were nice people who wanted to make friends.

Ain watched as Ria left, making special note that she stayed in her human charm the entire time she was at Celeste's house, maybe she didn't like showing her real appearance that much. He shrugged than paid more attention to himself, his ankle was getting a bit numb from the ice pack but his shoulder was as of yet untreated beyond being reset back into place. It would probably take a few days to heal with Celeste's healing ability, more without.

He then glanced over to Celeste, and locked his eyes on her. She was now mentioning his aura, but not only that she seemed to somehow get the idea that he might be cursed from, that made things easier.

Taking a second to think whether he wanted to tell her that he was cursed, he tensed up over the choice, it would be hard to say that he was cursed after he had died - no, after he had killed himself. When he had woken up from apparent death, the curse was there as maybe punishment from the gods, maybe a different punishment for all the people he had killed in his life or maybe a side effect of resurrection magic - he didn't know.

Finally relaxing, he nodded to to tell her that he was indeed cursed and that was the reason he could not speak as well as his aura. He moved his finger in a circle to symbolize the radius around him and sighed, a small frown appearing on his face.

Celeste watched Ain as he gestured and nodded. She wished he could talk or communicate better. She had other questions, but they required more than a yes or no answer. Feeling a bit frustrated at this, she finally signed partly in resignation and partly because she didn't know what to do. She was now worried about Shale, about the stranger people snooping around the house lately, everything.

"Lied back, please," Celeste said as she gently removed the ice pack from Ain's ankle. She needed to tend his arm too - though she knew her magic was not really suited for that type of healing. Anything bone and muscle related were not as easily fixed by her and left her drained more than it should.

Doing what she could for his ankle and shoulder, Celeste looked up tiredly. "Get some rest, okay. If your shoulder or ankle aren't better by tomorrow, I will probably need to call Dr. Thuil." she said thoughtfully.

Ain did what she asked and lied back on the bed, and watched with interest as she attempted to heal his injury with her rather unique magic. The heal didn't feel quite as effective as he thought it would be, but it seemed to mend him where it mattered. Compared to his earlier injury this was nothing at all, and knowing his body he knew that it would take a couple days to heal a best as long as he didn't push himself anymore.

Before Celeste left he wanted to get through to her that he appreciated everything she did today and before that. Taking Celeste's hand, he smiled kindly at her and nodded to her. That was the best he could do while under the curse, so he released her hand started tugging at the blankets to try to cover himself up, and was finding it a bit difficult in his current condition.

Celeste looked down at her hand when Ain grabbed her as if to say thank you or something, looking back up at him, she just nodded and gave his hand a small squeeze back. "Get some rest, I'll send Shale in later with something to eat," she said, now thinking about all the class work and assignments she had to grade and all the other things she had on her plate. She also needed to talk to Shale about his behaviour at the community center and the fact he was getting into heated discussions that could lead to fights.
