It was hard to believe that it had already been six months.
Six months of happiness, of struggle, of challenges, and new opportunities. Gabe couldn't help but laugh at the dramatic thoughts running through his head, but he didn't care. It was six months to the day since he had asked Yuki out and the two had started dating. Now, they were preparing to go out for a movie and a lovely dinner date on the waterfront. Then, if things were going well, they'd end the night with a nice walk along the ocean with a small treat in hand. A simple date but one that Gabe was far too excited for.
Gabe had dressed in finer clothes for the evening, opting for a dark green button up shirt and khaki slacks with an appropriate pair of brown shoes and belt to match. He briefly considered a tie but decided against it in the end. His normally unruly hair was now styled back with gel, giving the plant user a more mature appearance. It had been jarring for Gabe when he first saw how well he had cleaned up, but he could only hope his boyfriend would approve of his fashion choices. In one hand, he tapped mindlessly on his phone while the other held a single bellflower. A flower the two both knew very well and was something Gabe enjoyed presenting to Yuki to see his face light up when he did so.
So now, he waited. He stood in front of the movie theatre with a slightly nervous stance but would do everything he could to play it cool. It wasn't a huge anniversary compared to most, sure, but it was the first of hopefully many for the two.
