Lochlann was going to say something earlier.
Instead, he stood there with his fork frozen and watched as she pleasured the piece of breakfast meat. Lochlann swallowed and then realized he'd never put any food in his mouth.
He took a bite of eggs and realized she'd just answered him.
"Oh," Lochlann said. "It uh, it takes me a while. That's normal."
His stamina was either a blessing or a curse.
"I remember..." Lochlann closed his eyes. "I remember the alleyway. But I don't remember why we were in the alleyway. Do you have any missing details?"
Or how things spiraled so out of control.
"I also don't remember what happened um..." he made a motion to her shoulder. "But i'm really sorry about that."
