Percy stared at him.... "Um... what are you talking about? I don't know what your talking about, all I said was that I saved up money and I'll treat you. Anywho I'm going to have to teach you some things so you and Amelia don't go broke when you two do marry."

He chuckled. He truly had no clue what Valentine was so worried about. Percy had learned money was nothing since the years passed. He had realized that money is only a rock it's there for a short time. Luckily he learned some tricks and trades.

"Uh, shouldn't I save up before I go to get married, maybe like five thousand or so. For the honeymoon, then to get an apartment or something, then to get food and stuff...?" He truly thought that would not make him so...poor. First thing was first, he needed a job, and fast. His eyes looked at him.

"Oh, as for what I said, it was nothing." He lied, but he insisted on lying. He started walking towards the City, wanting to go somewhere cheap, like McDonalds.

Percy smiled at Valentine. "You know your so adorable when your helplessly in love with Amelia, you might want to know I've been holding a goodsized wedding gift for when she found that special one. I kinda knew he'd be broke." He chuckled.

"I'm glad I pushed myself to pinch and save every bit of antique coins. They're value increases more and more hence the smartness of keeping them if your vampire or immortal. Some of the coins I have are worth one hundred thousand dollars to some people on their own. So it wouldn't hurt me to part with some to help you two get on your feet, but I want you to know you better not even think of paying me back because I don't need more money." He smiled.

"Also you'll need a job, a respectable job. If your a good enough student in the academy and know enough about powers and train enough maybe you and Amelia could become teachers or trainers. But you both would need to work hard, also main thing is to know your opponent's power at first use and be able to counter it. I have seen a lot of powers maybe I can help you both learn that, unless you want to go another road when you two get married." Percy smiled lightly....

"I just want you two to be happy, I know Amelia's biggest fear is to marry someone like her father. Your very kind to her and she noticed that first, I want you to make her happy so don't hestiate to ever ask for help. And don't worry, I have enough money for if I wanted to get married myself. The shame is it probably won't happen, but I keep waiting for fear that if I only waited a year longer I could've met her."

Adorable? We got to work on his vocabulary if he ever wants to get married. He had somewhat of a raised eyebrow as he said that, but he took the compliment and smiled a little more as he heard of the wedding gift. He could only wonder what it was.

I'm glad I pushed myself to pinch and save every bit of antique coins.

Wow, I just hope that the girl that finally likes him, which I am sure will happen, won't turn out to be some golddigger. He shrugged and sighed at the thought. Young looking and rich...what a paradox of a bad combination

"Also you'll need a job, a respectable job. If your a good enough student in the academy and know enough about powers and train enough maybe you and Amelia could become teachers or trainers. But you both would need to work hard, also main thing is to know your opponent's power at first use and be able to counter it. He shrugged, but could only say as he threw the two roses in the air. "As soon as I somewhat get a hold or master my powers I am thinking of going to be an artist for glass sculptures and open up my shop one day." He started to form a little mini-glass figurine of Percy, but grew bored halfway. "Yea, anyways, if you were paying me I would make you into a figurine, but since you aren't..." He smiled and chuckled some.

"Why aren't you becoming a teacher?"
he could only guess the answer which was that he wouldn't get any respect and he has enough money already.

He sounded quite like a dad and could only reassure himself that this "boy" was three hundred years old. The whole be careful routine made him feel good inside as a warm feeling came over him. "She'll come, when the time is just right. Just you wait."

He pushed open the door for Percy and waved for him to go into the McDonalds. "We can order out. It is great that it is a cold day out so you can put your hood on and not stand out." He could only think of the middle ages, where wearing cloaks and such even in hot weather wasn't an odd thing.

Percy chuckled. "It's night time, I can go out now without a cloak." He said taking his cloak off. "I just personally like to wear it at night for the creepy feel it gives people that don't know me." He chuckled. "I love to creep up on people and say weird creepy things in their ear and vanish. It's rather hillarious to see them scream and run away."

Underneath his cloak was a normal pair of clothes, dark jeans, a dark t-shirt, and a dark jacket of sweatshirt material it had light blues near the sleaves and dark blues near his chest. It looked almost like a jersey but had no numbers or team on it. His hair was a bit long but in spikes but not to the point where they stuck up on his head. His face was pale but not abnormally pale.

He sighed, Kind of a creepy hobby... He shrugged it off knowing that it probably wasn't nice to think of this as he was going to be treated to dinner by Percy.

"I guess I'll just have a sunday, it is getting late."
He looked at the time, it was about ten thirty or so. He really didn't care for specifics. Valentine sighed, his stomach almost full just from looking at the things there. Today was a special day. Sheesh...so much love and all in one day...

"When did you meet Amelia?" he wondered about this and if it would strike up any conversation.

The waiter took they're orders and left. "Hmm.... Amelia, I met her about a year ago, she had just became a vampire. She was a novice and didn't belong in the vampire world or the human world. Caught between worlds you'd say, anyhow I taught her a few things about the vampire world and how to deal with powers and blood lust and stuff and how to prevent killing someone when in need of blood." He said with a smile.

"She's almost like my daughter, but since I look younger then her and all kinda doesn't work. Of course I wasn't always around her but I gave her teachings to help her, you wouldn't believe how clueless she was at first." He chuckled lightly. "She knew nothing of where in the neck you hit the blood, she was clueless." He shook his head chuckling lightly.

His face grew solumn, "She's grown up a lot though since then, now she's got you. I think it'll be dull in the forbidden, she always was in some mischief or fight. Kept you laughing at how much she did wrong, she trained hard to get her powers to the fullest."

He was somewhat amused, but not entirely. Valentine was actually more interested in what the past was rather than the little side jokes. He still smiled. He looked down at his sunday and started to eat.

"Tell me the truth. Do you think I am good enough for Amelia?" He looked, I mean he had killed four people or so, wow, he didn't even know. He had no regrets of killing them, and he had temper issues. He also had only known Amelia for two weeks before dating her. He wouldn't call it the most wise move. "I mean really, what don't I know about her?" It wasn't a boastful question, but moreof a question of can you please tell me about her thing.

The sunday seemed all to Sunday like. It wasn't that great, but just nagged him and his apetite. What was he doing? Eating and trying to get information on Amelia. I mean really, how good of a boyfriend was he.

He chuckled.... "Are you blind? Why would I let you even near Amelia if I thought you weren't good for her. Why would I trust you with her and help you to form the relationship? Why would I have talked to you tonight? You wouldn't even be with Amelia if there was a possiblity of you hurting her. She is my only friend, I wouldn't want just anyone to be with her." He said this as a statement no questions just fact.

He smirked at the boy's statement. "Do you know her last name? Town she lived in? Her favorite color? Animal? Music? Dance? Song? Movie? Do you know if she sings? dances? Do you know what subjects she's good at? bad at? Come come Valentine, no one can ever know all about someone. You do know more then most it's true, but you don't know everything. Do you even know her favorite flower?" Percy asked this, he said this all to humble Valentine. After all the boy seemed a little too much into the fact he had gotten so close so quick. True the boy had gotten past her barriers, but he didn't know all about her.

Oof! It was like slamming into a brickwall headfirst, "Oi...wow, I don't even know her last name...oi." He chuckled some at the irony of it. Then again, it never really came up in conversation. Oh wow...she doesn't know my last name...and she wants to get married!

"Do you know all those things?" He thought he knew movie, but then again, he hadn't much of a memory. He then looked down, hm, so am I guilty as charged as being in a normal relationship? Throwing out his quarter eaten sunday slush, he continued to sit at the table. He smiled on the inside at the question of her favorite flower. It might have changed since Percy last saw her.
