Name: Silvia Eroheim
Age: 25
Birthday: June 9
Gender: Female
Species: Demon/ Half-Vampire, Quarter Succubus, Quarter Seraph/ Tainted by Elder/Eldritch Gods
Category: Citizen
Career: Medical Doctor, Surgeon
Appearance Description:
Silvia's slender build stands at a height of 5'5". She has near flawless skin thanks to her heritage. Her body had stopped aging in her 20's, and has been in a constant rejuvenation process since then, keeping her at her top physical form. Her eyes are grayish blue and her hair is auburn.
She dresses quite formally whenever she goes out, and is almost never seen without her glasses. She doesn't have any defects in her eyes, she just likes wearing them.
Personality Description: Silvia is a confident woman, friendly and overall good company. She has a natural charm in her soft-spoken words, but can be a bit shy outside of a working environment. Flirting is one thing she was never good at, and she is bad at responding when its done on her. Most of the time, she comes off as timid and has a hard time socializing with strangers, unless they give off a friendly sort of air about them, like a kind greeting directed to her or a friendly smile. Anything bad or unfortunate that happens that she thinks is her fault, she will always apologize for, even if it were an accident or attributed to bad luck.
In a working environment, she is all business, the only exception being the times when she has exhausted all her work. Outside of these environments, she avoids speaking about her job as a surgeon whenever possible, but she is fine with first aid or talking about medical problems that don't involve surgery. The reason for that is mostly personal. She may enjoy her job, but she doesn't want it to be everything she has to think about.
There are times she loses control of her emotions and break down to cry, usually thanks to stress. In these events, she tries to distance herself from everyone at the cost of appearing rude, which later adds to the stress.
What most people don't know is that she has an unhealthy obsession with 'studying' creatures and their abilities. Just like how her mother used to be, she takes unsuspecting victims and experiment on them. Whether its introducing new strains to their DNA, or extracting a certain chemical from their bodies, nothing is out of the question for her. While she does this to understand the creatures better and to get cures and vaccines to be used, people don't tend to think of her methods as 'ethical.' Much less when she ends up going overboard and start creating monsters. Maybe there's something she believes will work, or maybe she's testing out if a mutating virus can fix a disability. How else would she know what the effects would be on a living subject? If it fails, then that's that. She'll either put the creature out of its misery, or keep it alive if she thinks they could be useful to her.
She keeps that part of her personality so far from the one she projects that it may as well been a completely different person. In all actuality, she does feel as if something possessed her to do it. She couldn't quite understand it herself, but it was like there was another person who takes over for her, but yet it was her own movements and decisions she was carrying out. Knowing fully well what this would mean for her, she never even alludes to this sort of behavior.
Powers:
Eldritch Vassal — Silvia has higher powers watching over her, altering timelines, memories and events in such a way that Silvia can carry on her 'work' for them. For example, if she had a targeted victim who managed to escape her, those eldritch beings would make it so that the victim would not remember her face, her voice, her gender or anything at all that would point accusations to her. Recordings whether they are magical or technological are altered just enough to be unusable against her, usually blurring her spoken words and blocking out her figure entirely. But in return, Silvia is pulled deeper into their grasps and must do their bidding to pay the debt. She has to either sacrifice lives or acquire knowledge for her masters.
However, she doesn't know that this is how it works, and those 'masters' she served have not yet revealed themselves to her, actively keeping her in the dark and ushering her to do the things she does and manipulating her just as they manipulate anyone else. When she is doing their deeds, she is often cloaked to people's perceptions. She may appear as a being of pure smoke or shadows, or a featureless mannequin, maybe even a body-double of the victim or witness. Those who see her in this state can rarely agree on what the perpetrator looks like.
Because she has nearly exhausted her favors from the eldritch beings, they would no longer be erasing any deep-seated memories of or from Silvia. That includes any substantial relationships with victims or people close to her.
Alibi Curse — Whenever she gets injured while doing her masters' deeds (like cutting up an exotic creature), something has to happen to her to make it seem like her injuries came from somewhere. Cut fingers? Kitchen accident. Black eye? Got mugged. Broken bones? Car crash. She'd also have either no recollection of the events prior to those or a made-up story. This curse also makes things worse for her overall, although it won't kill her.
Species Abilities:
Dark Fangs — Silvia's fangs are able to grow and shrink, and her bites have an added effect of manipulating the sensations of whoever she bites. It could be extreme pain, numbness, extreme pleasure, or anything in between, throughout the entire body or a specific region. Effects only lasts up to two hours, but Silvia can choose to have it shorter. Additionally, her bites heal up pretty nicely, closing up without scars within a day. Depending on how much of the body she affects with her bite, she has to wait anywhere between 3 to 30 minutes. If she only makes a hand feel numb, she only has to wait about 3 minutes. The entire body of an average-sized human would take a whole 30 minutes.
Biological Immortality — Her body stopped aging when it was supposed to be in its 20's. It's very likely that she won't die of old age.
Rejuvenation — Silvia's body heals quite gracefully and about 20 times as fast compared to a normal human. It's quick, but not as quick as someone with a healing factor that zips up open wounds like a purse.
Biography: Silvia wasn't 'born' in the traditional sense. Instead, she was the byproduct of an unholy union between two women, one a full-fledged vampire tainted by the elder gods, and the other a succubus spawned from an elder succubus and a seraph.
During one of their many intimate encounters, Silvia just appeared in between them in the bed when they woke up. She already had the body of a nine year old when it happened, which confused the two women. At first the vampire thought this was some kind of trick played on her by the succubus, but using her own magic, she found out that it was indeed their child.
The vampire was usually a sadistic woman who cut up living creatures in order to figure out how they worked, both in the physical and magical sense. Not only that, she was creating monsters, mixing bits and pieces of what she learned from other creatures and seeing how those traits reacted in the monster, whether or not it was beneficial or deadly, and if she could put it to use on the next ungodly creation she could think of. She was specifically after creatures that showed interesting characteristics, and Silvia definitely was an interesting creature. But she wasn't cut up on a tray, held open by her various tools, no. The vampire raised her daughter like a normal mother, and taught her everything she knew. Her techniques, her magic, everything.
By the time Silvia was five (that is, counting from her so-called birth), she was already catching cats and dogs and 'operating' on them. Most of those creatures died, but those who lived either continued to live normally, or had some rather interesting abilities, such as a dog that could mutate into a horrifying hellbeast when threatened. While her mother locked her creations in cages under their home, Silvia would often let hers out when they have fully healed. To her she was just playing doctor, so once her patients were feeling well, she'd let them go. Of course, having such creatures out on the world would cause trouble for normal humans, and it wasn't long until the creations were traced back to her home.
Thinking that all the monstrous creatures that have been captured or killed by the authorities were the vampire's creations, she became a wanted criminal. When their house was surrounded, she released all her creations and called upon the succubus to take their child away. Silvia didn't know what had happened, and just thought that her vampire mother just had her live with her succubus mother while she worked. She didn't question the succubus either, and instead started to learn how to control that neglected part of her powers.
At the age of 14, she went to a regular high school where she put her charms to use, both on classmates and teachers. Silvia was a bit malicious at times, but she genuinely enjoyed having friends. Before long, she became the most popular girl in school while still being a freshman. She fell in love with a boy, but not knowing how to act, she simply treated him as she would everyone else, however a lot of people could tell that she liked him.
The boy she fell in love with wasn't one of those people.
When she found out that another girl became his significant other, Silvia was torn apart, heartbroken. The days after that revelation, Silvia stopped going near the boy, going out of her way to avoid him. Concerned about the sudden change of behavior, the boy confronted her numerous times, but she always had a way to escape. It wasn't until a month later when Silvia grew complacent did she get cornered in an empty classroom, an hour after classes have ended. She couldn't escape without a fight but she couldn't bring herself to use force against the person she loved. The questions came again, and every time she refused to speak up, his voice would get louder and louder until he was screaming. She wanted it to end. She couldn't handle hearing him raise his voice at her. She couldn't handle his anger. She couldn't help but cry.
It was only then did the boy silence himself, giving her space, but didn't leave, still hoping for an answer to why she was avoiding him. When Silvia calmed down, she told him everything. How she felt about him, how much he meant to her and how heartbroken she was when he picked another girl to date. Without thinking, she pressed herself up against him, and he hugged her. Mistaking it as a sign that he accepted her feelings, she kissed him. He kissed back. One thing lead to another, and soon they simply just made love.
The day after that, a jealous classmate of hers told everyone what they had done, and even spread a recording around the school. This dealt a huge blow to her and the boy, the latter getting into a fight with his girlfriend in the biology lab, where he got stabbed repeatedly with a scalpel in the torso. Silvia was close by when the struggle happened, so she rushed in, only to see her crush lying in a pool of his own blood. Ignoring the girl standing there in shock at what she had done, Silvia rushed to the boy's side, cradling his head on her lap in panic. He made eye contact with her just before the life faded from him. It was at that moment when Silvia's eyes had dilated, almost as if she was the one who died. Her head turned to the woman responsible, who had dropped the blade and already backed up to the chalkboard, not knowing what to do after her outburst. Silvia picked up the scalpel and slowly rose to her feet, her head down and tears rolling down her face.
She shoved her shoulder into the girl's chest to stun her then took her hand and nailed it to the chalkboard. The screams of pain and panicked sobbing fell on deaf ears as Silvia's attention turned to the glass cabinet where the laboratory equipment was stored. Right there were her mother's tools of the trade, the scalpels. The cabinet was locked, but that didn't stop the vampire. The glass shattered from the force of her elbow, the pain was only numbness to her. She returned to the girl, slamming the tools down on the teacher's desk to get her attention.
She pinned the other girl's hand and nailed it with a blade so she assumed the crucified position. The girl was crying and shouting, irritating her, so she bit her neck. The bite made the girl unable to feel the pain, and instead made the ordeal... pleasurable for her as Silvia used the blades to see how she worked. She was honestly entranced with the girl, but something just ticked suddenly. She started having aspirations to emulate her mother, a great surgeon with unmatched skill with the scalpel.
Silvia walked away from the lab, the people around her seemingly unaware of her victim's screams, or the fact that she was soaked and dripping with blood. She herself didn't seem to be bothered. She did feel a little sick though, so she decided to go home early.
When her half-succubus mother asked what had happened, Silvia told her everything. The next day, the news was roaring with life, reporting about the two bodies found in the school. One boy who was stabbed repeatedly, and a girl who ended up looking like a piece for biology class. Curiously, the footage they found from the cameras inside the lab showed the girl stabbing the boy, but once the boy had fallen, the cameras froze. When they worked again, the girl was already hanging dead from the board, completely mutilated. No one recalled seeing Silvia that day either, and that video of her and her crush? It was as if it never existed. No one even recalled such a thing. Nobody even seemed to remember that Silvia liked the boy. And she herself didn't recall ever having feelings for him either.
Later that day, she found a letter in her locker. It was an invitation to a place called Starlight Academy. When she showed it to her mother, she made arrangements for her transfer.
Silvia went alone, but stayed in contact with her mother. She completed her studies while living in the dorms. She took up the courses that would lead her to becoming a surgeon, and soon passed the licensure exams without trouble. She was quick to find work at the hospital and easily became what she wanted to be. She knew her mother would be proud.
What people don't know is that aside from being gifted and a hard worker, at least a dozen of bodies had to be sacrificed for her to know the ins and outs of the bodies of every creature the lessons covered. But there were no missing persons cases circulating on the people she studied on. They were simply either forgotten, or assumed to be somewhere else. Those who survive their encounter with her either forgot all about her, or couldn't remember anything about her, not her voice, not her face, not even the color of her hair or even her gender. As far as anyone was concerned, Silvia was as innocent as one can get.
Over the course of her stay in Manta Carlos, she had a couple of romances. A lot of which didn't end up like her first. Some however she had to force a break up for a couple of reasons. Quite a few were nasty, and it ended up with her significant other simply disappearing. In cases where she was cheated on, both her significant other and the one who they cheated on would also mysteriously vanish from everyone's mind, no matter how loosely tied to the couple, forgetting that they existed.
Somewhere down the line, she had adopted a child who looked to have a bright future ahead of her. Given the age gap however, they'd more likely be seen as sisters or simply room mates. Her bright spirits and enthusiasm to learning were the main factors of why Silvia chose her. The child too was someone who enjoyed doing the same things she did, so they got along quite easily. She was a great helper as well and ever since being adopted, she was also being watched over by the entities that had Silvia in their grasps.
Additional Information: She is often unaware of the dark influences on her life. Mental tests, regular and magical, also make her out to be completely stable even though there are lapses in her memory or she has schizophrenic episodes, however the latter isn't a common occurrence anyway.
