Yikmo smiled as Hari mentioned Amphy's name. He nodded, letting Hari take his hand. He felt at peace next to Hari, and could feel something stirring in him, the same thing he felt when he grew flowers and plants. Hari wasn't a plant though, right? He looked like a person. A pretty person. Maybe he was a flower person?

Yikmo smiled as they stepped off the path, going into the forest. He liked wandering around in the forest, it was always so peaceful, and full of nice plants and animals. The young boy smiled as they walked into the forest, unaware of the darkness of the trees.

Hari supposed it was a good thing that the child was so blissfully aware of the forest. It would be more difficult to pacify him while he navigated the roots and the rocks and chose paths out of the dinosaurs and the wolves' way. Walking barefoot made this task easier, but out of the path, he couldn't help but step on sharp-edged barks or particularly pointy rocks.

As they reached the entrance to the heart of the forest, this was the furthest way most humans could get. Anything beyond here would be unwise if the forest didn't assist them.

Hari felt bad for bringing another person here. The last time he did, they got attacked by wolves. This was... a child. Hari took off green scarf given to him by Hal and wrapped it around Yikmo's neck, anticipating the cold to follow.

"Stay close to me and don't engage any of the animals inside, all right?" he told Yikmo softly as they entered the thick lining of trees. Hari could feel a few things skulking nearby. That was not a good sign. "It's very dangerous. You could get hurt."

Yikmo smiled as he walked along with Hari, his own bare feet plodding along through the dirt of the forest. Flowers and soft grasses rose from the dirt as he walked, keeping the young boy from stepping on anything sharp. He smiled brightly as he walked with Hari. The man was really nice, he had soft hands and he felt really friendly. Yikmo couldn't explain it, but he trusted Hari greatly. He smelled like a tree!

The boy stopped as the scarf was wrapped around his neck, and he tugged at it slightly. His long sleeves slid past his hands, bunching up by his elbows as he fussed with the scarf. Once he was satisfied with it, he took Hari's hand again, nodding. Why would he engage animals? What did engage mean? Oh well.

He smiled, nodding brightly. The nice tree man was going to take him home! He wasn't taking the shortcut, but Yikmo was sure that the man knew what he was doing.

As the sun finally set and the shadows grew thicker like black oil, Hari began to follow the unknown path only made for him by the plants around the area, keeping a tight grip on the child.

He couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being followed.

This was difficult, especially with a child in his presence. If it were only him, he would've lost the pursuers some time ago. Hari picked Yikmo up and sped his pace up, going through the thick bushes and sharp brambles of the forest without a care for the damage on his limbs. When he saw a nearby cave, he and Yikmo went inside, hoping to wait out whatever threat was outside.

Yikmo smiled as he was picked up, he liked being carried. He pushed his sleeves up to reveal his hands so he could put a few of the flowers he had picked up as they walked into Hari's hair. He thought they looked nice!

The brambles and bushes parted as Hari and Yikmo walked through, Yiks presence being the catalyst. The small boy did look around the cave Hari took him in, confused.

Hari placed Yikmo down on a soft patch of grass and waited for the threat to pass. For a few moments, Hari was dead still as he heard soft footsteps on the blades of grass behind them, holding Yikmo close so he wouldn't make a sound. After that... nothing.

Hari reached up to touch the flowers in his hair. There were a lot. Well, he did love flowers in his hair. He was trying to imagine how he looked and it wasn't anything less than "cute." He gave Yikmo a bright smile. "Thank you," he said.

Yikmo played in the dirt after Hari set him down, making a few flowers grow. He picked them and started weaving them together into a necklace, a Lei, which he then tried to put around Hari's neck.

The little boy smiled brightly back at Hari, nodding at his words. He was glad the nice man seemed to like them!

The danger has passed, more or less. Hari exited the hole they entered and held Yikmo's hand. Now that they were out, he couldn't make heads or tails of the terrain.

Rocks made things so needlessly complicated, at times.

"I don't suppose you know how to go back?"

Yikmo looked around, holding Hari's hand. Hmmm...

He hadn't been in this place before, but he always managed to find his ways home. He looked up at Hari, and frowned, shaking his head in the negative. The young boy looked around again, before gasping. There was a really pretty looking flower over there! He tugged at Hari's arm, pointing at the bright yellow flower a short distance away.

"I..." Hari shrugged and followed Yikmo, standing close to make sure he can grab him if anything happened. "After that, let's go home. This place really isn't really safe."
