Rae grinned down at him. "Up here, Paul." She began climbing down. Once on the ground, she turned to him.

"Oh, good morning." He said as he turned to her. "Early bird are we?" He stretched once more.
"Something like that." More like an uncomfortable bed. Rae would have looked at the rising sun, but the top of the mountain kept that from happening. "Should we head back now....or what?"
Rae nodded and set of down a slightly beaten path that was covered with an inch of freshly fallen snow. She rubbed her freezing arms.
He ran to catch up to her. "I guess we better start descending so we can get to the warmer spring climate, yes?"
He stopped and thought for a few seconds, as if seriously considering her question. "Hmm.. Today is my birthday. I just realized that.."
