Rae blinked. "What?" She was confused now. Why was he wondering about why she hadn't gotten much sleep? So what if it had gotten a bit too cold and the tree bark kept poking her so she had had to move around alot! What did it matter to him?...

"You still aren't gonna say anything, huh? Hmm.. maybe she lost her voice.. that must be it! You lost your voice, didn't you? So you can't say anything. You're trying but nothing comes out, right?"

Rae rolled her eyes. "Good guess, but I can speak perfectly fine, thank you." She began walking yet again.
"Oh.." He watched her walk past then walked along side her. "So.. then why did you stop saying stuff?"
Without looking at him she answered, "Because I was trying to ignore you. But you kept pestering...so it didn't really work."
"I see. Well, why were you trying to ignore me?" Interestingly enough, he didn't seem offended or upset in any possible way that she was purposely trying to ignore him. He just seemed.. curious.
"Oh, I see. But ignoring me just made me more annoying. It didn't solve your problem in the least. Looks like you gotta try something else, huh?"
"No, not really. I don't think I could come up with very good advice on how to shut myself up. Or would it actually be the opposite?" He knew she was joking, but still answered in a semi-serious way.
