"Then...should we go back to the school?" Rae looked around at the people buzzing by before bringing her gaze back to Paul.

Paul didn't respond. He was too busy arguing with Corona (who insisted that it was a date) to notice that Rae was talking to him.
Rae noticed that Paul wasn't paying attention to a word she was saying, so with a slightly amused grin on her lips, she took his hand and began pulling him along in the direction of the center of town. She started babbling on about how her shoes were still wet and how uncomfortable they were. Of course, it was all a lie, she just wanted to see how long it took him to notice her.
He seemed to be completely on auto-pilot. He didn't notice at all that he was being dragged along, he simply walked with her without saying anything. Corona noticed, of course, but he found the situation amusing and tried to keep Paul's attention the best he could to allow Rae to have more fun.
Rae still couldn't get his attention, so she decided to have fun and pulled him to the theatre. Might as well have more fun at his expense. She reasoned. Once there she reached into his pocket and took out the needed amount for admittance, and then bought them popcorn and herself a bottle of water. She didn't get him one because she wasn't sure he would even realize they were there.

Corona cried out in laughter at seemingly no reason to Paul. Unintentionally, this caused Paul to snap out of it and realize he was in what appeared to be a movie theatre.
"Huh. That's strange. I can't remember anything that has happened in the past like.."
About 10 minutes.
"...10 minutes. I wonder why? What movie are we watching, anyways?"

Rae grinned as her shoulders shook with silent laughter. "Were you daydreaming, maybe?" She suggested. "And I'm not sure. I just paid for something. I think it's a horror...."
He gave her a blank stare. "You used my money, didn't you?" Not that he really minded. But why didn't Corona tell him what has happening? He distracted him on purpose, didn't he...?
Rae blushed in embarrassment. "Uh, yes. So technically you 'just paid for something'." She opened the bottle of water and took a drink before screwing the lid back on.
"It looks like it is a horror." He commented as the movie began with someone being stabbed multiple times by some unknown killer. "I don't know the name... though.."
