Lynn giggled right along with Kon when he had made his voice deeper. "Me and my army of fireflies will sure the world our true power." Lynn added onto with their own deep voice.

Lynn calmed down a bit and gave Kon a shrug. She had the basics down of what she was going to do for the festival and now it was only the matter of praticing, writing a new song, and shopping."Yeah. We could go shopping and stuff together later! I'm not sure on what to wear yet other than something to match the fireflies."

Lynn paused and gave it some more thought. "Maybe a cool mask or something??"

Konpeitō nodded eagerly at the idea of a mask. "I love it! It'll add an elegant look to your outfit. Maybe a masquerade-like mask? I've seen a lot of butterfly designs for them." Thank goodness he had researched masquerade clothing after hearing about the ball the island put on every year. This information was coming up sooner than he had expected.

"I know some good websites to order from, but I think it'd be a lot more fun shopping with you. We could even have a montage where you change into various outfits and I comment on what you wear." The suggestion was only a half-joke. Lynn trying out different outfits while Kon silently shook his head or nodded actually sounded like fun.

Lynn kinda had people she could ask about the masks, if she recalled correctly, the Leizu's had fancy masks they wore for special events and stuff buuuut mask shopping with Kon seemed a bit more fun at the moment.

"I would really like to go shopping with you!" Lynn said. "I need to update my wardrobe for spring and summer anyway." Aaand also in general. All the clothes Lynn wore was just long sleeved shirts and turtle necks...which was now getting hard to wear because of all the feathers that keep on growing on them.

Kon looked Lynn over, his mind already at work. Many shops on the island were catered to a specific style. With spring coming up, finding an outfit with a flower or animal theme wouldn't be difficult at all.

"Just tell me what kind of clothes you'd like to wear and I can figure out what shops would be best to visit first."

"Well I could go for anything really. Maybe something fancy but easy enough for me to move around in?"

Lynn then gestured to her feathers. "And uh...to help cover these up..." her voiced seemed to lower a bit on that last part as if she wasn't fully confident on that choice.

Kon noted all this down on his phone... until Lynn showed insecurities over her feathers. Kon's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. What was wrong with the feathers that he wasn't seeing?

"Alright... Why though? They're so pretty and would match the theme you're putting on! ... But I won't pressure you to do anything you don't want to do."

Lynn wasn't sure on how to properly answer that. The feathers were fine when they were smaller and easier to hide but now they weren't. Lynn had her reasons which all originate back to what she really was. "I um...they make me look more like..."

She didn't want to give out the name of the elves. "Bad people."

Bad people?

"Bad people?" Kon didn't mean to say that out loud, but even if he kept his mouth shut, his face gave away his thoughts.

"I don't know who they are... but you just look like Lynn to me. I don't think you need to hide how you look, because you're a great person. When people see you, I hope they think how great you are and not how bad the other people are."

Lynn smiled a bit at Kon. She knew what he was saying was right but it wasn't about what other people saw. "I just...rather not be associated with them anymore than I am now."

Lynn fiddled with Fygg as the firefly army was slowly making their retreat from the room. That was still a wonderful sight to see, all one hundred something fireflies forming up and dipping out the window. "Oh...Well I guess practice time is over." Lynn giggled as she went to close the window after the bird trio also left.

Kon could spout kind words all day, but in the end, it didn't matter if he didn't know the full story. The best thing he could do was make it known he was an option for support if needed.

Looked like Lynn was done with practice anyway. Kon stood up and did a few stretches to relieve the tenseness in his body. Was it from sitting for so long or from worrying about Lynn?

"I'll send you a text about some shops we can visit. And Lynn," Kon finished his stretches to give Lynn a serious, but concerned look, "talk to me if you need anything. I want to make sure you're living your best life."
