Private Shopping Trip

Clothes shopping for Rowan had always been simple, jeans and t-shirts usually made up his wardrobe. Yet today he found himself getting dragged along to one of the malls on Manta Carlos.

"This is.....probably the biggest store I've ever been in," he'd say as they entered, glancing around as they did. "Jeeze there's everything here," it was all a little overwhelming in a way.

Avram wasn't really sure why they needed to go clothes shopping. Sure, he'd need some clothes at some point, but the school had uniforms and he had three good pairs of jeans and a hoodie to put on over his shirts. He didn't need much else.

Avigail on the other hand was fed up with only wearing the same small set of clothes. She wanted to go shopping, and she would be damned before she would let her brother make her pass up this chance.

As they walked with the group, Avram looked around so that the two of them could see everything that the mall had to offer. "Yeah," Avram agreed with Rowan. "It's big. There's a lot to see, huh?"

The boy's eyes rolled against his will and Avigail spoke up in protest, "This is about the size of the mall I used to go to when we would go into the city, Avram. It's not that special. There are a lot of stores I'm not familiar with though."

Lizzy

Lizzy was fairly certain she'd been in a mall once... Maybe twice before, and the idea of having so many things in one place gave her a few thoughts. Not that she would follow through with them. Although a mischievous smirk crossed her face a very interesting idea crossed her mind.

Course, the reason she was here was a little more than just pranking her friends. She needed clothes. Everything had happened so quickly after they killed that.... that thing, that she'd only been able to grab a handful of things, so the chance to buy some new clothes was a welcome one

Taking a look around, she finally spotted the group she was looking for. "Well, this place is huge." she said, looking around the building as she walked up to the group. "Sup nerds?"

Running a quick head count she counted 3. No, 4 since Avram was technically two people. Meaning they were just one short. "Sooo, anyone wanna play find Dela?"

Georgette nosed Delaney's hand. The young teen looked towards her dog, then ruffled the poodle's ears. "I'm fine girl." She whispered. She came in with Rowan and the others, but made an excuse to hang back for a moment, saying Georgette needed to do business. Really, Delaney needed a moment.

The whispers faded into white noise, and she tuned her senses back to her immediate surroundings. "It had to have been nothing." She said to her dog. "I didn't hear it right." Still, as Delaney made her way towards her friends voices, she didn't smile.

"I've been here the whole time, Lizzy," Delaney bumped shoulders with Lizzy. Then dropped her voice to as low as she could make it. "Right behind you." She laughed and joined their little circle. "Man, my first visit to a mall. Can't say I'm impressed." A lie, because this building felt huge. And loud! "Where we going first? I want to go somewhere with black. Lots of black. And leather wrist bands."

Unlike Delaney, Michi actually wasn't with the group when Lizzy got there. Well, initially she was -- she had gone with Rowan and Delaney when they entered the mall but just as soon as they passed the entrance, Michi's eyes locked on to one of the stalls that sold a bunch of accessories and she strayed away for a moment. When she looked back, Rowan and the others were gone. She groaned, scolding herself for not hearing them go but mostly scolding the noise in her head. Not that it made a difference. Deciding it would be better if she started looking for them as soon as she could, she tried to follow a straight path hoping they hadn't gone into any stores yet. It didn't take her too long catching up, but the size of the place made it almost harder than necessary. By then Lizzy had met up with them, "Oh, hey, you're here now," she said before turning to the rest, "Sorry, I got distracted," she apologized to them. "Um. Did you guys find anything you wanna check first?"

"Well Avigail, were not all as worldly as you," he'd say with a small chuckle. He was still sorta adjusting to the twins sharing the one body, but he'd picked up on how to tell when they switched. "At least we can get everything we need on one place."

"Hey Lizzy," he'd greet her as she appeared. "Dela's here, she stayed back a bit." He was a tiny bit worried about her and Chi, but knew to give both the space they needed.

He'd look to Dela, as she appeared. "Oh I'm sure we'll be able to find plenty of stuff for you, maybe there's a hot topic here?" he didn't know of any other stores that specialized in goth clothing.

The bandaged boy looked to Chi as she appeared, smiling and stepping to stand beside her. "It's all good, didn't get anything from that stall?" he'd ask. "My clothes are all super simple, so we can get stuff for you guys first."

"Yes, finally. I want something to wear other than Avram's baggy jeans."

"They're not baggy. They're just not tight."

As the sibling argued back and forth, looking like some cartoon's idea of multiple personality, Avram's right hand pointed to a store nearby. "Dela, goth shit that way. I bet I can get some kick ass eye shadow there too- absolutely not. We don't have a lot of money anyway, and make up is expensive."

They continued their argument internally, both knowing it was going to get really heated and not wanting to cause a scene. Avram didn't say it aloud, but he was very much against the idea of wearing make up, though Avigail knew it since they had access to each other's thoughts.

"Sorry guys. We'll go wherever you guys want. We've gotta figure out what all we need to get first anyway."

Lizzy

Lizzy tensed up when Dela bumped her. Sure, her healing would kick in if she got hurt, but she'd rather not deal with that today. "Hey, careful!" she said, before waving to Chi as she joined the group Since getting out of the Islets she hadn't had many chances to meet up with her friends. She'd missed this...

Or missed parts of it at least. Judging by the way the discussion was going, it seemed like no one could agree on where the hell they wanted to go. Casting a glance at the store Avram/Avigail pointed out, she figured they might as well start off there. "Why don't we go there first?"

"Why don't we go there first?" She asked motioning to the store. "I'm sure we can find some stuff we like there. Especially you tw.. three. She said, gesturing towards Avram/Avigail and Dela.

"Sorry, Lizz," The teen apologized. Delaney let Georgette settle then gave her the command to sit. Delaney stood to the dog's left and used the spot to orient herself. Noted where friends were, and kinda get a feel for their position in the space as a whole.

Delaney made a face at the mention of Hot Topic. "Ew, come on Rowan, I have better taste than that." Maybe if she wanted pop culture shirts or cute key chains. . . actually, Hot Topic may have some nice pins and buttons she could use. The goth teen was running low on skull headed safety pins.

Thank the Island's Gods Avigail found the store with the good stuff. "Awesome. And drug store make-up can be pretty cheap," She thoughtfully pointed out. "Some of it is actually pretty good." Not that she'd pass up some kick ass black eye shadow, but Delaney only had enough spare cash for a new top or jacket. Maybe some accessories. Make-up must wait.

"Who me?" Delaney smiled innocently as Lizzy no doubt pointed her out. "Come on y'all. Take me to my aesthetic." Delaney held out her hand for one of her friends to grab. She had no idea where the store was after all. If she were with anyone else but her friends she might have been annoyed.

Michi waved back to Lizzy then gave a smile towards Rowan, rather surprised he had actually noticed her when she'd (accidentally) broken off the group after all. "I found a few nice things but I thought I should start with some new clothes before i get into the smaller details," she told him a little embarrassed. She didn't actually need new clothes; she had managed to get enough of her clothes to bring with her and mix and match them to her heart's desire but... never hurt to expand it. That and she'd left most of her hair clips and make-up, which is why she was antsy to get her hands on a few new ones. But she had priorities to deal with and also... a couple of indecisive twins. Michi watched Avram and Avigail bicker, though only hearing one side of the argument. She let out an awkward chuckle, which probably sounded more like a sigh before speaking. "I agree with Lizzy. Besides, Delaney looks like the only one who's made up her mind," she pointed out, taking Delaney's outstretched hand and leading her to the store the twins gestured to.
