Lochlann was exhausted. His wounds were mostly healed, but he was feeling a little bit under the weather. He knew he couldn't get sick--that was almost impossible for him--but he couldn't shake the general feeling of malaise that something was going to be wrong.
He was out on the beach trying to clear his head, attempting to jog along the shore, but after a while he gave up and just walked. He was only about a quarter mile away from the town, heading back in, when he thought he saw something running at him on the horizon.
It kind of looked like Kaya, but Lochlann wasn't certain. He lifted his hand to his forehead to shield some of the sun from his eyes but he still couldn't make out the figure.
