Liliana gave Xarrah a wide grin when the young woman confirmed that the James that she was referring to was indeed the same James that Xarrah was going out with. When her friend, classmate, changed topic, Liliana smiled at this.

"Hmh... not really," Liliana said as she twirled her pencil in her fingers, "I mean there are a few guys that I think are super cute," she admitted thinking of a couple of really cute guys she'd seen around school, "But none I want to date," she sighed, thinking that maybe she was way too picky.

Xarrah nodded as Lianna explained her situation. “Yeah being honest, I wouldn’t have actually noticed James if he hadn’t helped me out the ocean. I mean he’s cute don’t get me wrong... but I find im sorta judgemental and picky at times.” She could admit that she fell into the trap of judging people. She tried very hard but sometimes her bluntness got the best of her. It was hard to know what the right the to say was or how to tell if someone was worth your time.

“I’m sure you’ll find someone and if you need help... I don’t mind helping. Then again there is nothing wrong with being single.”

"Maybe... I mean, your probably right," Liliana replied thoughtfully, now thinking about how Xarrah had met James. It kind of sounded really nice, like romantic, like a hero and damsel in distress thing.

"And besides, with everything going on, I barely have time to myself, little own having a boyfriend," she admitted thinking that between classes, student council and the Hereafter club she really did not have a lot of free time.

"So what is James like, besides really cute?" Liliana asked her with genuine interest. She had only ever seen him in classes, cafeteria or the halls, and maybe said "hello" to him in passing. She really didn't that much about.

Xarrah nodded in agreement even she had to admit relationships took up time. She was still trying to balance school, music, and her new relationship. Although it wasn't as hard as she originally thought it would be, she couldn't imagine adding more to her plate. "I mean, there's no rush really. We're still in high school, we have time."

She thought about how to best describe James, it was one thing to tease him about being a scrub to his face but with other people she still was a bit embarrassed about how much she liked him. "Uhm well he's really sweet. Like he teleports me around when it's raining so i won't start zapping things and he cooks for me from time to time. Also doesn't mind me spamming him memes or being overly competitive. He's pretty cool. He's also really easy to talk to, even if he enjoys teasing me." The teasing was definitely something she could live without but she couldn't really complain to much. There were definitely worse options.

"Are we in agreement we should skip this boring stuff and make a vulcanized volcano?"

"Yeah, I can't concentrate on this stuff anyways" Liliana remarked as she closed the textbook she had been using to study. She definitely enjoyed Xarrah's description of James, thinking he sounded like a really sweet guy. She hoped that she would find somebody just as nice too.

"How about we get out of here? Head down to the science lab in a bit, and work on getting a real volcano working?" Liliana suggested cheerfully as she started putting her books back in her bookbag. "I can grab a few books on the subject. Maybe you can check to see if there is some chemicals we can use in the lab?"

Xarrah nodded “sounds like a good idea, plus if we need anything we can always try and buy it.” She packed her stuff up and made a mental list of the things she thought she’d need. “The books will be helpful, maybe tell us how to go about Vulcanizing the outside the volcanoe and hopefully the normal ingredients to interact bad.” The last thing they needed was a chemical diaster while trying to make science fun. She slung her bag over her shoulder and stepped around the chairs.

“Plus we can snag a lab before the other science partners get it.”

Standing up when Xarrah did, Liliana pushed her chair under the table and then picked up her school bag and threw it over her left shoulder.

"Great, I'll see you in a bit. I'll ask the librarian first, see if she can direct me to a few sources. If not, I'll look it up online," she said as she watched Xarrah make her way towards the doors.

Liliana wasn't someone who implicitly trusted everything on the Internet, especially where science experiments were concerned. There had already been an incident or two concerning students recreating some video they had seen and ending up in the infirmary. Something Lili wanted desperately to avoid happening, and with that thought, she made her way to find the librarian.
