Alfredo kept safely in the back of the room, trying not to pay too much attention to what was going on. It didn’t matter if Lelei could take it or not. The whole ordeal just made him uncomfortable. Really, though, who liked watching someone get beat up? Alfedo could barely keep his eyes open.

He was quick to scurry out the door at the end of class, but somehow Lelei caught him. More praise for Sylvia… He bit his lip. She wasn’t even that great, but she’d gotten a handle of all of this before he could. Well, of course she did! She had that weird alien power!

That didn’t mean he liked it, though. “Of – of course you were being too harsh!” He crossed his arms, but with his size he didn’t look very menacing. “All that talk about – about inner strength and everything – I’m a show rabbit! None of that applies to me!” He turned his head away with a small “hmph” and an upturning of the nose. “That’s not the sort of thing I’m good at.”

Sylvia felt proud after being complimented by Mr.Lelei, but it looked like Alfredo hadn't taken what the instructor had said very well. 'Oh no, we was pushed pretty hard, but I think he did really good.'. She reached out a hand to put on Alfredo's shoulder to try and comfort him, but pulled away deciding that he should probably be left alone for a bit. 'Maybe Mr.Lelei will say something wise to cheer him up, its not good for people ot be angry like that.' Sylvia thought to herself with a frown.

Lelei nodded solemnly with Alfredo's reply. The boy was blunt and to-the-point. Lelei would have complimented him on being so direct, on being able to articulate his thoughts and feelings with no room for misinterpretation. But he ultimately kept it to himself in light of Alfredo's words.

Getting down on one knee, Lelei bowed his head at Alfredo then looked back at him.

"Please accept my sincerest apologies, Mr. Summers."

He glanced at Sylvia, giving her an approving nod for trying to comfort him, even if she did retract her hand. She wanted the same thing for Alfredo, or at least believed in his empowerment. That was the feeling Lelei was getting anyway.

"I just thought I could improve your confidence and comfort in your own skin. But I see that you are not like some of your peers. You are fine with what you are, and you take pride in it. I should have known that not everyone can have the same kind of strength.

Please, if there is anything I can do to make it up to you, let it be known. Perhaps Miss Cogman could help? Though she is under no obligation to."

Alfredo was all ready to fight about this, so it was rather shocking when Lelei immediately conceded. The sight of someone so much larger than him getting on one knee and apologizing… it stopped him in his tracks, to be honest, and in his silence he began to feel somewhat guilty for yelling at him like that.

Lelei… understood? That was surprising. “Ah, well, I was just saying – it was a bit alarming, that’s all.” Now that Lelei was going on about making things up to him and such, he really did feel bad. “I don’t really know if there’s anything you could do anyways…” He looked down for a while, then suddenly brightened up. “Oh! Unless you would happen to know where I could get glasses?”

"I don't know of any places off the top of my head... But! I'm sure I can help you find some when I have some time off!"

Lelei visibly brightened and jumped back to his feet, causing a small shake to reverberate through the immediate ground. He was smiling again and patting Alfredo on the shoulder. When Sylvia also offered to tag along and offer her aid in the matter, he gave her an approving nod.

"Mr. Summers, if you could find me some time this weekend, I would be more than happy to aid you. And I'll even see to arranging Miss Cogman's company.

Heh. Perhaps it could do me some good to attend to you. Learn a little from you two. Later, of course. I have a few more classes today.

So I suppose you two are dismissed for now, and I look forward to getting together again!"

Everyone was so willing to help — and Alfredo found himself smiling despite himself, although he also jolted when Lelei hit the ground. Like a boulder or something...

"Then I — I'll look around for you! We could meet — by the main entrance, maybe? That sounds about right." He nodded, more sure of himself now. "In any case I couldn't miss you anyways, I'm sure I'll know if you're around." Lelei was not... easily missed.

He nodded to the two of them eagerly, and then left with a bit of a skip in his step.
