Rory conceded the point to Jayson. It was hard to judge his body type and how much strength he packed in to from simply looking and if there was one thing the blonde had learned from his time in the old world it was that looks were often deceiving. He knew that he was often underestimated but had killed a time or two when he needed to, still he died the times that he had for other reasons. Finishing up the first half he picked up the second half and started on it, answering between bites of the bagel.

"Chocolate is the most amazing junk food to ever be made and don't let alone lie and tell you different."

He couldn't help but to imagine his lover as a dog on all fours with nothing but a.. Nope! No! He was not going to imagine such things no matter how his awkward roommate helped to paint a picture for him. Rory took another bite and chewed slowly to give himself time to think of an answer. MY, but his new roommate was full of questions and Rory himself barely got to ask any in return. He found it unfair and looked to shift the attention back to Jayson.

"Um, no. It's not because we're gay. It's a lot more complicated than that, SO! ..What about you? Got a girlfriend, boyfriend, a dog?"

Rory looked at his roommate and his expression got very serious all of a sudden. "No, chocolate really is the best junk food ever. It's a serious thing. I'm taking a baking glass so I can make my own chocolate pies and stuff. It's that serious."

Immediately after the words left his lips his expression lightened back up again. "So, you're a four legged you said. What kind of four-legged are you?" Finishing up the last bit of bagel left in his hand the boy dusted his hands free of crumbs and waited for an answer. He was quiet until his phone went off and Beyonce's song Single Ladies rang loud and clear. Dashing across the bed he silenced the phone and looked over his shoulder at his roommates. "Wait, you--" He had a confused look on his face while he turned on to his side. "You don't know if you're gay or straight and have no boy or girl friend..are you a virgin?"

While Rory could go on for hours about the different ways that chocolate was the best thing ever it took a back seat to the fact that his roommate was the purest form of virgin he had ever met. That was saying something if anyone knew him. "Oh my..." Rory dropped his face down against the bed sheets and released a heavy breath. Could he room with a virgin? A kid who didn't know that striping down in front of someone could... No, again Rory wasn't going to allow his mind to go there.

Lifting his head again the blonde tried to collect himself. "Why is it always me?" He asked more to himself than Jayson as he leaned up on his elbows. He wished he had Draco's number so he could text him and tell him about this. "Well..that would be a huge yes and, I read minds and emotions." Although he didn't need either of his abilities to know that this kid was nervous in his own skin. "You can sit down if you want.."

It made Rory a little less on edge to watch the kid relax enough to sit down at least. It became quite clear that no amount of sitting down actually made the situation any less tense when Jayson began to ask his questions though. "No, oh my Goddess..no, no, no!" Rory sat up and swung his legs inside the space between their two beds, using the time to fumble for a way out of this topic.

'Seriously!' Rory thought to himself, 'When you told me I had a purpose that would come in to play one day I didn't think you had sex-ed instructor in mind!' It was just a thought but the thought was thrown across realms and directed towards a certain large blue Goddess.

Out loud he sighed heavily. Again. "Being a virgin just means you haven't had sex. That's not a bad thing and doesn't do anything to you. Let me expla--" He hadn't finished the sentence since Jayson stood and prepared to leave. Rory stood as well and pushed on the kid's chest with the goal of making him sit back down. He pointed at the other boy. "Listen! It's not offensive. It's just extremely ironic that you would become roommates with me and I'm just shocked. I haven't met a virgin in a long time."

There were many things that flitted across Rory's mind but the two conflicting topics were of virginity and something about a fail safe. If he hadn't been focused solely on the kid right now he wouldn't have even caught that slip up, if it could be called that. It was all a part of getting to know someone but it was odd when hearing things by actually hearing them and reading them directly from their mind.

The blonde withdrew his hand and let his fall to his side. He had to collect himself and chose what to speak about first. His tone softened up a bit once Jayson sat back down and allowed Rory to explain his side of things. "It's ironic..because..I'm rather...experienced and you...you, are not." He cleared his throat and glanced out the window hoping some gelatinous monster would coming flying through it and eat him alive to save him the embarrassment of this conversation..which he had completely instigated.

"It's just sex. Not a ritual or custom..oh Goddess, please just tell me you know about your anatomy and where babies come from or I'm going to have a mental break down.." He had never had to have this conversation with his children but by golly he had educated everyone else's child!
