I have two characters I'd be interested in throwing at Vali with the understanding that neither of them might work, so there's no hard feelings if you're like "red no."

Yoka is the interesting choice to throw at him in that she is an older woman who recently lost her much younger boyfriend. She wouldn't' be seeking him out in a professional capacity. Yoka has been relatively lonely, though and it seems likely their paths could cross and she'd jump at the opportunity to have someone who isn't a Student or a Customer to talk to.


Aiden would be a bit more difficult in that Aiden is kind of married to his job. He sleeps and works and takes care of cats and that's kind of it. He's also perfectly content to NOT have friends.

What would be interesting is that Aiden is an aspect of death so he might be intrigued by how he'd perceive Vali, but not enough to ever bring it up in conversation. Getting them together might be a bit forced. Aiden would probably need a reason to establish contact; sometimes he works at juvie island so he could always seek out a therapist's advice on a case lochlann that could turn into a conversation?

Alright, Yoka does sound like it'd be a more natural slide-in for the relationship.

Aiden would be 100% difficult to cross that gap with because Aiden likes the gap. He exists in the gap.

Yoka's relationship with him could also be complicated in that she's fully capable of looking younger in her relationship with Murphy and chose not to. She's also pretty uncomfortable about the age gap in her long-term relationships, but she has slept with folks 16-18ish before, too, with no qualms.

Yoka is at the school occasionally since she's an alumni and her business is an internship site, though people always tend to assume the worst. Is Valli a therapist at the school or private practice? Basically im trying to figure out where would be most natural to run into each other since im under the impression there's no chance he'd be at a strip club or a hotspring

Yeah that’s more doable. Yoka runs the hotsprong, too, so she likes to get guests feedback. This would work well for a starter.
