Tears finally broke free of his icy barrier in his eyes and they exploded like a submarine door submerged being unlocked and opened. He wasnted to finally see his children he didn't just want to hear their...her voice. he didn't want to just be a remnant in his own mind only to see darkness.

He sighed after she kissed his cheek, "You know, even when you sucked my blood from my neck that always seems to work amazingly. GUess I'm just a sucker for you."

He smirked and kissed her back on the cheek, "Guess I am getting used to the new you. You got taller. Did you forget my birthday? I still have to take you out to make up for that day?" HE chuckled some.

"Man, I'm going to miss that wink..."

She hugged him tight, kissing his cheek. "I promise you won't be unable to see our children, you can see them other ways. Everything will work out, you'll see." She said saddened that he had so much pain, she hugged him tight.

"You know, even when you sucked my blood from my neck that always seems to work amazingly. GUess I'm just a sucker for you."

She smiled still hugging him tight, soon the nurse came. "You can see the doctor now." She said opening a door leading to a room which had a bed-like examination table. The doctor motioned for Valentine to be seated on it.

"Guess I am getting used to the new you. You got taller. Did you forget my birthday? I still have to take you out to make up for that day?"

She smiled, "Right now focus on getting better, that's the best thing you could ever do. Then we can talk about the future." She said giving his hand a squeeze as they walked into the room with the doctor.

"Man, I'm going to miss that wink..."

She shook her head with a light smile on it, "I guess I'll be able to know you can't flirt with other girls even if you wanted to." She said trying to lighten his spirits.

"Fine focus first on getting better, then focus on getting the wink back to flirt with other women." The twitch was almost unconciously done. He hadn't known how many times he winked.

It was starting to get annoying.

The glass bender continued to walk in "What do ya want now?"

She chuckled rolling her eyes, "If you even attempt to flirt with other women your going to have to answer to me Mister." She said playfully poking him lightly. She had to admit she was a bit territorial of Valentine. She loved him and wanted no other woman to have him, but she didn't want him to be unhappy either.

"What do ya want now?"

The doctor looked at him, "I need to examine you and see if there's anything we can do. The nurse told me everything about your condition today, I truly am annoyed at her though so please tell me what's wrong so that I know she wasn't lying as she sometimes does."

You know, you are really like a guard dog when it comes to me. he chuckled as he cotninued towards the doctor. Yeah...my status...um, I am blinded by the cold, and my bodyparts are slowly turning into galss, the skeleton that is. That is all.

She chuckled, "I know..." She came with him towards the doctor, she didn't want him to have to deal with it alone. Her attitude with him wasn't that of someone taking pity on him, but more like a wife that wanted to support her husband. Even though they weren't married yet she already felt like she was meant to fill that part in his life.

Yeah...my status...um, I am blinded by the cold, and my bodyparts are slowly turning into glass, the skeleton that is. That is all.

The doctor looked at him in shock, "You should've been in here sooner. We could've found something to ease the pain, we should get you upstairs under observation for a few days to figure out if you'll get your sight and old motions back." The doctor picked up the phone and talked to the nurse telling her to get a room upstairs ready and that she was fired.

I am going to say that with this change I will definitely be getting my old motions back because I can bend the glass in my body subconciously. The cold outside was something that I chose so I would be able to bear it. I thought about using that stuff...the amonia...or something like that...what was it called?

As for my sight...thanks. His head shifted towards the cieling and his hand started to search for a chair as a smirk entered his face. I just hope that I can get my sight back...

The doctor sighed, "I think you should've just told me your problems... That nurse is a pain, I fired her she gave inaccurate information that's for sure."

As for my sight...thanks. I just hope that I can get my sight back...

Amelia put her hand on Valentine's shoulder, she gave it a light loving squeeze. The doctor looked at them, "You know, you two looked married. When's the date?" He asked them curiously, Amelia was quiet. She didn't know if Valentine had wanted to continue until he had his sight back. She didn't have a date that she could look forward to.

She let Valentine tackle the question, soon after the phone rang with a new nurse telling the doctor the room for Valentine was ready. The doctor turned to them, "Your room is 913 you can have your fiance' stay until 10:00pm then she should go till morning unless something goes wrong or something." He said to Valentine. Amelia just stayed by his side.

And may I see you privately. Valentine asked the doctor as he pulled him aside. Look, you're going to let her come to me at all hours, otherwise I'm leaving.

Amelia smiled squeezing his shoulder, so he had planned it. She felt so happy to be with him again and to know that he wasn't backing out on her. She rubbed his shoulder lightly in a loving manner, she had so much missed him and now to have him back again and know he was no different in his love for her made her so happy inside.

And may I see you privately. Look, you're going to let her come to me at all hours, otherwise I'm leaving.

The doctor looked at him, and sighed. "Fine, but you've got to realize this hospital would be making a big risk having two younger people together at night. I don't want anything unsavory happening in the hospital rooms." The doctor said to him, it seemed the doctor had no faith in people or anything for that matter.

Amelia waited wondering what they were talking about.
