Reunited?

"Thanks...but... I am in pain...please...don't be with me in that...your cries will be unbearable for me..."

She held him, "Valentine, I.... I promise I can not cry, just let me be with you. I'm in more pain without you than I've ever been, I need you." She kissed his cheek again softly and lovingly, pleadingly.

"I love you...and will be with you forever, but now I must venture into a place where the pain will be numbed. In the cold."

"Let me go with you... I can't stand the thought of wondering if your okay. If your alive, if you'll make it. Valentine I want to be with you, I can't have you leave and not let me come as well. Your everything I love and want in life, I can't handle losing you." She said tears falling on his neck.

"Forgive me. I will be back...in three weeks."

She rose hugging him tight, she kissed him the kiss loving and longing. She kissed him hoping that the kiss would keep him warm inside and that she'd never lose him. She wanted to be with him forever and to have to be separated again hurt her so much. She didn't want to be separated from him ever again and so soon it was happening again.

"Fine. Don't cry! Come now, or else see me in three weeks."

She took his hand in her's not caring about the coldness, she was a half vampire after all. She could feel but the cold air she would get used to it. She stopped crying, squeezing his cold hand her warmeth holding his cold ice like hands.

"I might lash out at you if I am in pain. I am sure that some of the vampires, including Percy, can testify to that. Now, let's go, i shall be in pain and will be blind. Don't help me at all!"

"Valentine, I need to help you not because your in pain. But because I love you, I'll be careful and I'll be sure to make sure you don't hurt anyone in your pain." She held his hand tight, she loved him so much and now she had him again. Nothing would keep her away from him anymore, nothing would separate them longer than needed.

"If you want another to love, then love another. I am not worthy of love at the moment."

She put her finger on his mouth, "Don't say that... Valentine, you are the one I love. Your worthy of love, don't forget that." They were soon outside, then she turned to him her hand still in his. "The truth is... I'm unworthy of your love, I thought poorly of you because of my selfishness and thought that you left me for stupid reasons. I was so wrong Valentine..." She said squeezing his hand again.

"Hey, your father wasn't the greatest of men and he didn't give ya a good example of us."

She nodded, she guessed that made an influence on her mind. But it still was still her mind that thought it and not someone elses. She only smiled kindly at his twitch guessing that it was supposed to be a wink. She hoped he'd get better soon so that he could unthaw and relax more.

She moved to him sitting beside him, slipping her hand in his again giving it a 'I love you' squeeze. She didn't want to annoy him so she helped what little she could, she didn't want to make him feel upset or treat him like a baby so that he got annoyed. She just wanted him to be happy again, and if it took forever she would.

"Fine, together. I'm sorry for leaving you. It was for the best in mine eyes. Whatever. Lets just go. We are probably going to be staying in the wilderness. Vampires just love to suck human blood, but not the glass within it. Gives me such joy to hear their cries."

She didn't let go of his hand, she started to adjust to the cold slowly. She nodded to what he said not wanting to make his pain worse or make him feel badly. She just held his hand glad that she had him back and that now she'd never leave his side. She wondered if he'd ever be back to normal in a sense of no pain. She wanted him to feel better and she hated the fact that he was in pain. But somehow being with him seemed to make her feel better that he was in pain and yet still in love with her and not some jerk like her father was.

"Thanks, for all you have done and have to put up with. Well, I guess we can try to go to the hospital, but I highly doubt they have a way to stop it. Come."

She smiled lightly at his new resolve, she was sure they could at least treat his pain. She kissed him back lightly, happily, she was so glad that he was back, that he'd no longer disappear. She wished to help him and be there for him. She didn't care about her pain so long as she had him by her side. She never wanted to lose him again, she never wanted him to leave her like that again.

"I'm kind of sick of being tired...and blind. I made you go through pain and now I make you go through a different type."

She squeezed his hand lovingly, "I'm just glad your back, if you weren't back it'd be the worse pain ever. Just never leave me like that again." She said getting a bit teary eyed. She was so happy to have him back. She wanted to hold him and kiss him forever till they made up for the times in the months they had been apart that they hadn't hugged or kissed.

I guess its time."

She squeezed his hand as they entered the hospital it was a rather dullish day not too many people. She walked with him over to the counter where a nurse was sitting. She was a powered lady who read minds she soon popped up Valentine's medical record at the academy without asking a question. "You can see the doctor in a few minutes Valentine."

"She is just lucky she didn't read my other thoughts to punch and beat the living hell out of her for taking the note I left on the bed for you..."

She chuckled lightly, "So it was her, shame she can't read mine at the moment." She felt anger for the woman for not letting her know about Valentine's note. She wanted to take the nurse to the land of whip. Or to put it nicely she wanted to make the woman get the lashes she deserved for making a girl suffer and making a boy think that the girl didn't care.

"No..."

She squeezed his hand to comfort him, she wondered if he'd be okay. She was a bit worried because of that long of exposure to cold and not to mention the pain. She kissed him lightly on the cheek to try to help him not pay attention to the pain and unthawing.

I'm glad that you are comforted now...hopefully I return to my normal self..."

She squeezed his hand again, "It'll be fine, no matter what happens I'll always love you. I'll never leave you Valentine I wouldn't want to, just don't go into the dark place of unhappiness and go against being happy with me. Because no matter what we can still have the life we dreamed about." She said to him lovingly.
