Percy nodded understanding, he left Valentine. The girl already knew he was a vampire, in fact she was one too. But he knew what Valentine meant so he left not saying another word.
Amelia felt someone touch her shoulders about ready to lunge and attack them she suddenly felt cold lips on her cheek. She looked at the culprit in shock, her first impluse was to throw her arms around him and kiss him. She only did the first part though, then she remembered what he did to her. Leaving her and not saying a word, she felt the anger.
He looked so ill and cold, but he did ditch her and she did deserve a truthful answer. She fought the three feelings of anger, sadness, and love. One was bound to win, she didn't know which would though. In her heart she wanted him to hug her and kiss her and tell her some true story that would make her anger go away and she could just hold him.
But her other part wanted to make him hurt as she had because of deserting her. But yet she was so happy he was back, she was in a mix of emotions. So he did come back, but she didn't know what to do. She looked at him tears falling down her cheeks, she held him tight crying on his shoulder. She wanted to hit him she wanted to yell at him for leaving and not telling her where he was going or what happened but she couldn't. Not when she wanted him so badly, she held him tightly in her arms fighting the anger.
She had planned on being bitter and mean and anger filled and hitting him and hurting him, but for some reason just seeing him and his greeting softened her heart enough so that she didn't cause physical damage to him. All her memories of him flooding back, him risking his life for her. The proposal, the promises, the love they shared. She beat her hands lightly against his chest anger and sadness filling her. "Why'd you leave?! Why'd you never tell me you were leaving?" Tears fell onto his shirt from her cheeks. She took a step back trying to be angry and mad and give him what he 'deserved.' But she couldn't lay a hand against him to do harm to him.
