Hal nodded in thought. "To be fair, Paris was just a city or two away from where I grew up." He was never the traveler type. He didn't like having to move around so much which is why he preferred to stay home during the summer rather than being left with his uncle in the next city. While he did like to visit places, the exhaustion he could feel would have been a bit too unbearable for him. He'd rather sit that one out, quite literally and just watch from documentaries.
Although...
"I'm not exactly the traveler-type but if there were places I'd like to check, those would be places like... somewhere in Australia where you could dive in the sea and see the coral reef up close?" he said, a small childish smile appearing on his face as he remembered seeing a documentary on it. "Or I dunno... get to walk along the Great Wall, sorta like that?" he said. There were sparkles in Hal's eyes as he seemed to have occupied his thoughts of the interesting places he'd only seen in videos.
Hal turned to Wind after a moment, "Oh and, I actually managed once to get into Catacombes de Paris when I bugged my dad about letting me go with him there one time...!" he told her, almost a little bit of his French accent slipping into his normally neutral-sounding English.
