His eyes widened as he knelt at her side. Valentine's head bowed down low as he looked at the blood and then at himself. The teenager couldn't fall into the unconcious world. The eighteen year old's fingers lifted her up, he lifted her up and with much struggle lifted himself up.

They were about a half mile from the school hospital. No...I can't go there...I have the energy, nor the will to want to go there. Setting her down, he knelt to her side, collapsing by her side, his head by hers and his eyes facing the sky above.

A couple minutes later, a panging noise hit his head as the subtle and cold raindrops his head. His wound had not healed, but was beginning to. He was losing blood, too much of it.

Gripping his shirt Valentine patched up his chest and then while the other half of the shirt, ripped and stained with his own blood Valentine placed the patch upon her. He gritted his teeth, his thin black hair now pouring down with the rain upon her head.

"Great...I finally meet a friend and she dies...do I have the responsibility to have a friend?" Valentine's solemn voice met with the air and the rain, and his eyes looked towards the heavens.

She stirred lightly her eyes still red she saw Valentine. She had to stop herself before it would be too late. She looked down she had to control herself, she shut her eyes tightly. "Are you okay?" She asked trying to keep herself from going into blood lust, she knew vampire blood couldn't satifie her thrist it had to be living. But to ask a friend of two days to contribute wouldn't be exactly a fair friendship. She wanted him to be alright so she could find other prey but sensed he wasn't.

"Yea, are you alright? Why are you shutting your eyes like that? Are you that tired?" Valentine wondered if he should pick her up again and run them to the hospital. The eighteen-year-old looked at her in the eyes and saw the vampires behind him. He then wondered, Are they dead...dead?

"They are dead... My heart was missed by a inch. I need you to do me a favor." She said closing her eyes tighter... "Run from here as fast as you can and never look back." She said in a voice without emotion. She needed to get him as far away as possible, she needed to find blood she could die if the blood wasn't replaced but if she got blood lust into high gear she would replace the blood and kill someone possibly a innocent. She didn't know what to do but possibly stab herself.

"Why?" He asked, the last time she said this she was worried that the two vampires would kill him. What was the connection? Valentines eyes searched everywhere for an answer. "You are dying of blood loss, I can get you to a hospital! I know, we would get in serious trouble, but we wouldn't die." Valentine was fighting his hate for getting himself in trouble on purpose.

"What is wrong?"

"I won't die from blood loss unless my blood isn't restored by living blood thru drinking. I'll get blood lust soon because of the need for living blood. Meaning your in grave danger if I don't find blood, I won't ask you for your's but you can run so I might be able to get it from another." She said closing her eyes lying. She wouldn't be able to control herself if she let blood lust come. So she'd slash her heart with her claws to save others.

A thump in his stomach came over him. Give my blood! What? But...I don't want her to die, yet, she could suck it all...get a bloodlust while I am giving her my blood. I might just die of blood loss.

Clenching his hands, the friendship, his first friendship and probably his last, was engulfing him. "Sure...go and suck the blood from me. From living blood." He looked down, always doing that whenever he was forced to donate blood. He was a bloodtype 0.

Valentine then looked to her and shuffled next to her, drawing her up with his arm. "Umm...bona patite." He tried to smile, but under the rain and the fight, he hadn't the energy.

She lowered her head... "I'm sorry for this all..." She said slowly moving her face closer towards his neck. She then looked at his face stopping. She moved her lips closer to his cheek kissing it lightly. She then bit into his neck everso gently, it was only a light pinch. She slowly drank trying not to go into blood lust, she was as careful as she could be. She didn't want to wreck his life, she drank keeping in mind that he must also be injured and losing blood. She was very careful the redness started to leave her eyes.

The kiss on his cheek was to distract him so the pain wouldn't hurt as much as the shock. She hadn't done this before but she knew shock made pain dissappear. She wanted the boy to not hate her after this. She took only the amount of blood needed and drew her lips from his neck. He'd probably feel weak but then she could always race him to the hospital if he was too weak.

As the warmth of the kiss was upon his cheek, Valentine was shocked, but reason took over his mind to tell him not to question the amount of their friendship. Amelia let go of his neck and the blood did not spurt, but he was indeed not doing so well.

"You didn't have to kiss me, really, what are friends for?" He thought the kiss was for thankfullness, not for the shocking purposes. Valentine looked up at the sky and found it to look nice on this particular day. Rising up, the eighteen year old found himself leaning towards the left, away from the vampire.

Guess that took out more than I expected. He was getting woozy, the world was still as light as ever. "Hey...can I just rest my eyes. I guess I need to bandage up my bloody body." He leaned against a tree and slumped down. Valentine's head leaned against it as did his back. His eyes closed as Valentine's face drew towards the sky.

"So, how many of those fights have you done?" The world of the vampires...two words...scary...exciting.

"Hundreds, I even did some before being a vampire. I was a bit of a girl who liked excitement. I had powers then too, I used to control fire it was quite a help in a fight. Now I rely mainly on bodily powers and strength it's a much different way to fight it took me a long time to get used to only man on man combat. Hence why when you fought against me I was clueless, I had nothing to attack you back with since I hadn't really came in tact with a power fighter in a while. I fight more with my body." she looked at him seeing his wounds her's started healing quickly now that she had living blood they were healing rapidly.

She wondered if her healing for the neck wounds would work for the other wounds. She took her hand lightly pricking a finger a drop of pure red blood came out. "Okay listen I'm going to try and heal your wounds you won't turn vampire since it's not going in your main blood stream and will only heal your wounds I'm not sure about bigger wounds but at least deep ones." She said looking at him. "Do you want me to try?"
