If she touched someone wrong she could break them. Alright. That was... a little bit terrifying. Chloe nodded. She stared for a moment at the hole she'd left in the floor. That couldn't be easy to fix, and it was her fault. She wondered how much trouble she was in, now.

She could barely look at Seiken. "I, ah, borrowed some of your strength. I didn't think..." The half-demon froze up. She didn't think that Seiken could be that strong. She might not have even been thinking at all. And now she was probably in a huge amount of trouble.

One of Chloe's upperclassmen walked over to them. A guy just a little bit taller than Chloe herself, with eyes that glowed a faint blue-green. He wore sweat-covered workout gear, and his hands were wrapped for punching a bag. He stopped well over an arm's length away. "Hey, don't worry too much about it, Chloe," he said. "It's not the first time someone busted the gym with a newly awakened power. I can call up the maintenance guys and deal with this; you guys can go." He wanted them to go, and Chloe could tell why. He didn't want either of them being a hazard to everyone else there.

"Okay." Chloe answered. "Uh, thanks. Sorry." The apology was aimed at both Seiken and this other guy. Chloe didn't even know his name, but she felt like she should have. He was involved in the martial arts club - he might have been the president, or in some other leadership position.

She moved over to where she left her bags, getting ready to gather them up and go. Only when she got out the door would she try to speak to Seiken again.
"How are you that strong? I mean, ah, don't answer that, that's a dumb question. But holy shit dude." He could probably bench press the entire gym.

Seiken grumbled under his breath softly before he straightened fully, at least she was listening to him. As she explained what she did was indeed- what he had expected he sighed, this was literally the worst thing possible, someone with no control possessing a solid portion of his abilities. So he watched her carefully as the upperclassman walked forward before he simply stepped after her- obviously intent on following her.

As they exiting the building and she commented on his power he made a face, "I'd .. appreciate if you kept it to yourself," he stated idly as he would run his fingers through his hair idly. Sighing as his claws extended a bit to properly brush it- his gaze sliding down toward her as his pink eyes- "You should probably warn people ahead of time if you're going to do that in matches too .. if I had known I could have compensated for power loss, and made sure yah' didn't break the gym .."

He sighed. So annoying- now he was going to have even more people to deal with, the basketball thing was bad enough- he had only done it to be with Emily, and now this? Rubbing the bridge of his nose he would eye her lightly. "How long will you have that much of my power?" he asked simply as his arms crossed over his chest, coming to a halt as he blew some of the dust off his body.

Seiken was probably right. Even though people were allowed to use their powers at those sessions, Chloe felt like she had broken an unwritten rule. She let her cravings for the energy of others get the best of her, and now she'd messed everything up.

"I don't know," Chloe said. "It usually wears off in about... I want to say an hour? Not sure how long it lasts for you though."

She noted how unbelievably light her bag felt. She could hardly feel it, like she was in a dream and her subconscious mind had forgotten what it felt like for objects to have weight. It was surreal. "I'm really sorry about this. Is there, ah, anything I can do to make it right with you?" She thought for a moment. "I mean, if it's a big secret that you're, you know." She checked nobody was around to hear. "That strong. If that's a secret, I could say that I think I found a new power. Go through the hassle of wearing a power nullifying bracelet in class all the time."

Hell, maybe the bracelet would help her manage her cravings. She had never worn one before.

"I'm not worried about me. It's kinda of nice, to be honest. I don't have to hold back as much." As much. That was always the thing. He lived in a world of paper mache- not matter what .. he always had to hold back. He let out a slight breath, an hour or so of watching over her huh .. he should probably think of something for them to do, but he wasn't a social person. He tilted his head slightly as he listened to her words.

".. If you don't mind, I'd appreciate it. I don't want the attention, and I don't want to deal with people wanting to fight with me." he stated simply as he closed his eyes, ruffling his fingers through the thick, long mane of red curls and waves. "I'd only end up hurting someone again," he stated with a mutter before he slowly closed his eyes and sighed- watching her with a bit of a frown.

"I won't feel safe leaving you. What do you wanna do for an hour or so ..?" he asked simply his hands remaining in the pockets of his hoodie as they halted, not a decent distance from the gym.

"Then... I guess I'll let the school know about this, weird new thing my power's doing. Haha." There wasn't much humor to her laugh. She wasn't looking forward to going through that charade either, but it was the least she could do.

And now he didn't feel safe leaving her. Because as far as he was concerned, she was a danger to herself and everyone around her. After what they just finished walking away from, Chloe could agree with that.

"Well, I was planning on just going home." Chloe imagined herself hugging Amber in this state. "...But, I would be worried about hurting my daughter. So that's out of the question, isn't it?" Chloe sighed. "I don't want to mess up the library, either. And I don't want to mess up that cafe I like going to." She gave an exaggerated shrug. "We could... hide in an empty room where I can't hurt anyone." It was the safest option, but also a very boring one.

"Know any rooms like that?"
