Quiet Nights [Claire]

He was not strictly capable of blushing at night, but the idea that he looked mysterious and not terrifying would certainly have made him blush in the daylight. "I was thinking meetings in classrooms." A different one each week, to avoid anyone bothering them. "And seeing if another other students want to meet up." Ghosts, zombies, who knew what. "For students that are dead, and students who are alive but deal with the dead." Whether they saw ghosts, or were haunted, or were necromancers.

Perhaps no exorcist though. That might be a tad uncomfortable.

"I'll finish up the paperwork tonight and submit it in the morning. I'm sure you'll get an official notice when we're approved with the date of our first meeting." That was how it was supposed to work. The only hard part would be finding students to join.

Makara nodded simply, although the edges of his mouth twitched upwards in an almost-smile.

"I'll see if I can't find more students to join." It would be silly if it was just the two of them, when there were no doubt plenty more students who were, for lack of a better word, dead. "You should return to your dorm and get some sleep. It's late." It didn't matter how late it was to Makara, but it would matter to Pario and any teachers he had the next day. It wouldn't do for Pario to explain he'd been up so late talking with a teacher in the youngest hours of morning.

He gave him a small smile and nodded, standing up. It was a strange motion, not quite natural, and he walked to the door, giving another small wave. "I'll let you know." He said, and then he was off - into the hall, off on a patrol.

Better to let Pario sleep. He felt good about it though, and he so rarely did. For the most part he just felt okay, so it felt like a significant thing when he actually felt good. He was contributing. Maybe even helping those students who were struggling with their death or connection to death. Most of them would never volunteer to see a counselor about such things, but a club? Maybe. A type of support even for those who didn't need support.
