He was so boned.
First of all he was a cat--a very handsome, sleek, muscular cat but a cat nonetheless--and he'd lost his little friend.
Wei was not taking being a cat very well. The tiny monkey, turned into an even tinier cat had started running around and destroying things. His outbursts were not conducive to what they were trying to get done, so he picked him up by the scruff of the neck like a cat does with its kittens, and carried him out of the lab.
But his outbursts hadn't ended there.
He'd wriggled free and took off, moving with impressive and wild abandon down the the halls, getting under foot and scaring people with his screeching.
Sid had tried to keep up with his pal, knowing that it would be best for them to stay together, but...
But...
He couldn't understand how he had so much energy now.
Panting from exhaustion, Sid sat in the corner of the hall, licking his paw and slicking back the hair on his head. This was strangely soothing, even if it was kind of gross.
The Drow--now a Russian Blue cat--could not believe he'd just lost a little screaming fur ball.
