Tech did not know what to think about her accusation of him being dropped when he was an infant. Was this another one of her people's odd ball insults? "Negative, my mother was very careful whenever she attended to me."

He turned his attention to Mikael. "Forgive me, my evaluation was apparently wrong then. I was not aware that it was a custom to have a 'nickname'." He would have to log this new discovery about Earth Culture away in his cultural log...

Upon hearing the girl's complaints about him not revealing his 'true name', he began to become slightly irritated. This conversation was become tiring to him. Most of their comments just did not compute with him, and he was still feeling tired from the large effort he had put into his failed drone project...

"My 'true name' is something sacred, and I will not reveal it to you. If you keep on insisting that I reveal it to you, then I will have to ask you to leave." He said firmly, while pointing at them with his mechanized arm.

OOC: No comment on the mechanized arm?

Mikael did nit really mind the comment Cass said about dropped to the head thing, he did not say anything about it anyway. But it was a little rude.
He raised an eyebrow again as she turned to him and he was no idiot to notice the tune in her voice. "No of course I would never dream of not behaving Cass" he said, there was nothing rude in his voice and he sounded honest in what he said. "I did not at all mean to offend you in any way with my words I assure you." the part about her worth made him laugh a little, not because it was fun but because she was so honest about her own high thoughts of herself. "No objection to that, would seem we have something in common. So far I have not once meet anyone worthy of...me yet." the tune he use was calm and not mocking in any way. It was just a statement he used since after all he had not found anyone to really get together with in many many years.

He blinked a few times about her odd statement about clan...had she ever read anything about other contries. Clans was often used all around thw world, like on Scotland with all there Mc something or whatever. But Mikael did not say anything about this since if she wanted to stay in the dark of the subject then that was her problem.

He turned his gaze to Tech as he was talking and nodded a little. "It was nothing big about that Tech, we learn something new everyday as some people say, no objection to that." he then frowned at the reply of the name thing, Cass was a little rude alright but he was not very interested in knowing this true name thing that was going on. But he had a feeling that Cass was not going to give up that easily...she seemed like the person who was used to get what she wanted and when she wanted it. It was then that he noticed the strange arm her had....it seemed robotic, weird. He tilted his head a little to the side as he began to think. It was clear that this guy was not around these parts from how he acted and so on. "Your not really from around these parts to begin with are you Tech, since I might not know much of machines but that arm is nothing I have ever seen before" his voice lacked any kind of real interest in the subject and it was more a bored statement then anything with facination.

“Your behavior states otherwise.” Attending to him sounded so cold. It sounded so… impersonal. “It’s depressing, really. Did she even love you?” He was so odd that he was almost making her sad. Cassiel hated him a little bit for that. She came here to lighten her mood, not to get depressed!

Her eyes slid back to Mikael when he took his turn to speak. Immediately her eyes narrowed and she almost growled because of how completely out of line that statement had been. But ladies weren’t supposed to growl, so she did her best to refrain. “Excuse me, but don’t insult me,” she said. “I’m above you. Don’t treat me like anything else.” She ‘hmmph’ed to emphasize her point and turned back to Techy, not wishing to look at the man who had so thoroughly offended her.

Sacred? “What was your mom smoking,” she stated, her eyebrows knitting. “Names are a sign of being nice, but whatever. Go do your sacred ritual crap, I don’t care.” Cassiel threw her arms up into the air in exasperation.

And Mikael spoke again. “Then where would he be from, dumbass? There’s no one in the world screwed up enough to make their son talk like this and give him a metal arm and crap.” Cassiel sighed. Constantly surrounded by idiots! “I didn’t want to say anything about the arm because I’m not that insensitive, but hell! Who has an arm like that? What, were you in a crash or something?”

Tech was not sure how to respond to Mrs. Cass' comments at all. Her hurtfull words made him feel angry, to the point that he was considering building a stun gun for his next project, and he did not understand why she was having such a aggressively, offensive response to him. "Whatever I have said could not have offended her that terribly... She appears to be just an unpleasant person. I should make note to avoid her in the future."

He decided to shrug off her unpleasant comments and answer the most unoffensive question she had asked, the one concerning his mechanized right arm. "My arm is a necessary tool. I use it for egineering and technical operations. I could not function without it in my given occupation."

He began to wonder how much longer this conversation would last, he wanted to get back to work on his project now. These people could not compute his actions or reasoning. They did not understand him...

Mikael frowned a little at her words. "Above me? Well depends on how you see it Cass, you should be wise enough not to judge a person from the first meeting. There is more to me then you might see right now." his voice was still as calm as before, he did not even seem close to irritated about what she had just said to him.

He looked at the girl when she continued to talk and insult the boy in all kinds of ways. She really needed to learn her place in the world. Mikael watched her and thought that if she had been his kid he would have given her a real beat up years ago to put her in the line. That was how things worked when he was a kid. He began to think of a way that he could hint her about that how she acted was wrong, well he knew a few things he might do.

He frowned again as she turned towards him and called him dumbass. His eyes watched her calmly. "And right you are about that Cass, no one on this world would do that, correct. But you think it is impossible that our friend here is not from this world? Think about it a little, I am sure your here for a reason with your powers...so am I, you really think that life on other places then here is that impossible?" he brushed some of his hair away from the face and then he smiled a little. Then he looked over at Tech. "Nice to have such an arm then, must be really useful." he was very close to want to grab Cass and force her up against one of the walls and give her a piece of his mind. But no that would have to wait, he could not do it with Tech here.

“… And what’s your occupation?” Cassiel asked, lifting an eyebrow as she stared at him. “You’re a kid, why do you have a job?” Cassiel didn’t have one, and didn’t plan to until she knew what she was even going to do with her life. She didn’t understand why parents forced their kids to work when they should be enjoying life before they had to get serious. Then again, her family was a bit more well-off than others; oh well, her opinion remained the same.

Mikael’s words grated against her ears. Cassiel inched her attention back to him and growled softly in her throat, although not too loudly as it wasn’t lady-like to growl. “First meetings tell you everything you ever need to know about a person. I don’t know what would ever make you think otherwise.”

Idiots.
