Seyyal smiled at Alaric and then she watched as he slid over towards Lottie. Of course he did. They had been hanging out a fair bit. But Seyyal tried not to call too much more attention to it and she nodded at Alaric. "Well we were pretty much just relaxing until someone decided to crash-"

Seyyal winced at the second super over the top entrance but was perhaps a little more ready for it to be just that- a nonthreatening display, than she had been the first time. It still jolted her into fight or flight mode, but she recovered faster that time. And didn't draw her swords.

"... hello fellow champion. You almost made me knock over the food," she laughed as Maddie approached and greeted her. And she nodded as well at Shir as he began setting things up for the two latest arrivals. "It's pleasant to have met you Shir. Maybe I should look into my own pack lion?" She greeted him and then winked at Maddie for the second part.

First there was a sudden flash, followed up with a spire of glass shooting up into the heavens. In the briefest moment Lottie readied herself for conflict. There a look of determination in her eyes as she raised one up up protectively to Alaric while her other hand reached for her non-existent wand. The glass spire burst and from the explosion of shards reveal two figures. As one of them called out Seyyal, Lottie looks to be both of them with fascination.

"Whoa! That was so cool!" shrieked Lottie, her eyes sparkle with wonder as she was still dazzled by Maddie's grandiose entrance. Lottie then leaps over to Maddie and Shir, quick to bombard them with all sorts of questions. "What sort of magic was that? Some sort of flashy teleportation spell? Oh are those horn on your heads? They are kind of small but kind of cute too! Its nice to have you show up! Seyyal's told us a bit about you but its great to see you in person! Oh I'm Lottie by the way. I hope we can all have fun here while we celebrate your guys recent victory."

Lottie then smiled to Maddie as she took a step back once she realized she may have been in the girl's personal space a little. She looks to Maddie's companion Shir, quickly looking him up and down.

"Pack lion huh? Hee... well happy that you are here for the celebrations Shir! A boyfriend of my friend's friend is a friend of mine!" said Lottie with a snicker, before she spins on her heel and returns to Alaric's side.

"But yeah it was like what Seyyal was saying, just enjoying the day at the beach until people came crashing in... literally. As for me well... I as just building a sand castle. And if you ask why? Just because~" spoke up Lottie as she finally gives Alaric her answer.

Several things happened all at once. After introducing herself to the crashing boy, others began to appear at a rapid pace. Sure she was tense with all of the sudden appearances of others to the party Sabra didn't have any of her equipment so her mind simply told her that being polite would be her armor here. If she was kind to these people she wouldn't have to worry to much about what was going on around her.

Sabra was holding to the handle to the spit quite tightly as she continued to keep it turning. "My, I didn't know my friends already knew so many people. It's a pleasure to meet all of you." As she spoke Sabra did catch the conversation about the 'pack lion and gave a small chuckle. "Isn't the 'pack lion' of our group me? Seeing as how I do carry most of our stuff when we travel?"

Seyyal smiled at the wave of bubbly friendliness poured from Lottie's mouth in greeting the two latest arrivals. It was sure starting to get a little more lively and busy around them. Fortunately she had made sure they were prepared for extra guests.

She moves over to throw an arm around Sabra as the other girl mentioned carrying all their stuff. "Hey we all carry our weight, it's not our fault you have to have the super heavy armor to cart around. What's a bag of supplies or an extra bed roll when compared to that?" She teased as she winked at her and gave her a nudge. Barely moving her.

"Of course you know full well we don't have any lions in this pride. Only lionesses. Far stronger and nowhere near as lazy," she laughed. And then paused for a second as she realized something. "Wait, did anyone bring something for music? I must have forgot."

"Excuse you, I am the opposite of lazy," Shir said as he more or less finished setting up his and Maddie's things. He turned to Seyyal as if he was offended, but he couldn't help but grin as he gave his defense. "Dealing with three hyperactive siblings on a daily basis is tiring. And like all cats, I like my naps. Maddie also keeps me in check."

Alaric watched the interactions intently Maddie's entrance was pretty impressive. He'd seen her using her powers to great effect during the tournament, even managed to thrash one of his cousins. He considered it an impressive feat... probably. He was about to move over to inspect this sand castle Lottie was building when the question of music came up.

"Er... I would've brought something, I didn't even think about bringing anything like that."

Madeline liked Lottie so far - she was giving her flashy entrance the kind of respect it deserved. "Thanks! I like my horns too; they're a good size. Big enough to stand out but not so big they're in the way. You probably know I can do illusions, buuut~ that's not all I can do. And it wouldn't be right if I just told you all my secrets," she teased Lottie.

Of course, she and Shir came in under the cover of her illusions, but it was much more fun to be coy about it. Hopefully Seyyal wouldn't ruin her fun - or the potential meal that could come of it.

Maddie caught the tail end of that conversation about lazy lions. She would swoop in just in time to back Shir up. "Plus, lions have way better hair than lionesses." She would reach up to scritch his ears and lean against him, in that way she loved to do.

"Did I pack that bluetooth speaker?" Maddie remembered being on the fence about bringing it, but not whether she'd actually brought it.

"Awww... thats no fun." groaned Lottie, crossing her arms and puffing out her cheeks as she pretends to act mad. Okey so maybe a little mad that this magician didn't reveal what other tricks was up but there is fun to be had to find out what Madeline's abilities are on her own. Or maybe the illusion stuff was the only thing they were able to do, Lottie knew was going to have to look into it.

"Ooooh yeah! Some music would be nice!" spoke up Lottie in agreement, then adding "Its times like these we could really use someone who is musician or a bard."

Seyyal shook her head. "No way. Just because lions have super-beards doesn't mean their hair is better. But I guess he does have some sway over you Maddie so I won't take offense," she laughed and then turned to make sure Lottie wasn't actually offended. Maddie was fun but the other Lionesses were her best friends.

Fortunately it seemed Lottie was mostly acting. Seyyal winked at Maddie and didn't interject to spoil the mystery.

The music thing was a little unfortunate but they'd just have to make do if it wasnt available. "Its alright if we dont have music, we've still got the important part- the food. And even though I'm not the pack-lioness," she paused to give Sabra a nudge, "I brought a couple extra towels and a blanket if anyone needs one.

With the food needing just a little while longer to cook Seyyal plopped down onto a blanket and dug her feet into the sand. "These clothes still feel weird but at least I didn't come to the beach in armor today," she grinned as she looked down at what she was wearing.

"Well I'm pretty sure you packed it," Shir said as he started digging around through a bag. He was pretty positive the speaker debate had ended on a "yes" by virtue of them going to the beach and why wouldn't you bring one? And what if they had one and it died? Always be prepared.

"Yep here it is," Shir said, producing the bluetooth speaker. "As for beards... never considered growing one out. At least in this form. I think my other form is fully matured. Would I look good with one is the question..."

Shir stroked his chin as if there was a beard there.

"Well, I was gonna say I could call my cousin to see if he's available. He's a popular musician, but he's also kind of a flake. And I'd totally owe him, and I don't need that in my life," Alaric grumbled as he flopped down onto the sand.

"That meat smells real good though. I'm just wondering what you guys are gonna eat," he teased, implying that he'd take it all for himself.

"Hee... yeah you don't want to get into the business of owing favors. Who knows what they might have you do. And it looks like the lion boy brought a speaker so no point in calling your cousin over. I'll probably have another opportunity to this cousin of yours anyway if we keep hanging out like this." spoke Lottie as she takes a seat next to Alaric on the sand.

"Well obviously we are going to share. Cause if you don't then we are going to make you eat the sand instead." retorted Lottie with a hint of mischief and an amused grin.
