Yikes! Part of her knew Sabra would act up but she didn't expect her to snap at Alaric like that! Lottie tensed up as Seyyal managed to intervene and try to get Sabra to back down. She never liked it when there was conflict within the group. As she looked to Alaric she could see that he was tensed up at Sabra's reaction. Instead of taking action Alaric just got up and left the situation, leaving her sitting in the sand awkwardly alone.

"OH can we just get back to relaxing... this is suppose to be party remember?" pleaded Lottie as she stands to her feet, looking between her friends hoping that they could move on from this little incident.

Well this had taken a sudden turn. One minute they were taking selfies and going through playlists, and now the only thing Shir was thinking was "this bitch crazy". Seyyal was the first to jump in and try to defuse...whatever this was. Maddie was already on the casting illusions bit to try and help. Shir wasn't going to just lay there with his girlfriend in the line of fire. He sighed, stood up, and shifted into his massive lion form. Then he simply moved over to Maddie's side, sitting on his haunches.

"Seriously though, we're here to have fun," he made a gesture to get Maddie to note Sabra did in fact have a power bracelet on as he said this. Fortunately it seemed like Alaric was already removing himself from the situation. That would help some.

"Maybe we should all just take a few and cool off huh? Move to different corners for a couple minutes."

Sabra was practically bristling in anger, she only heard her friends and companions trying to calm her down as muffled words as her blood was rushing through her ears. What did catch her attention away from Alaric as they begun to walk away from her was the sword at her throat. The commanding tone of Seyyal telling her to stop drew the warrior woman's attention away from Alaric as everything else happened around her.

The furious visage of Sabra turned and was full force on Seyyal before she had a chance to realize what she was doing. Even as she was about to shout out at her friend and take a step forward, the blade drew the faintest sliver of blood and it snapped her out of what she was about to do and instead she took a step back clutching her head. "I.... I did it again didn't I..." Sabra let her legs go weak and she slumped back into the sand a little depressed now, bringing her knees up to her chest. "Even with the bracelet on I still get so angry..."

"I- I think it'll be ok Maddie. Her bracelet is on so we shouldn't have to worry about powers here." Seyyal cringed slightly and braced herself in case her friend didnt get snapped out of it. She really, really wasnt looking for a goddamn fight at what was supposed to be a nice celebratory party.

But the girl was stopped by the blades. Which only made Seyyal cringe more seeing her friend get hurt wasnt good at all. In fact the swords fell apart immediately into sand as soon as Sabra began collapsing. To prevent further injuries and so Seyyal could reach out to hold and steady her friend.

"We should look into finding a better way to give you some control," she said quietly to Sabra before turning to the others. "Sorry for the trouble. Maybe everyone take a few minutes to calm down and we can try to get back to having fun?"

And then she remembered the meat. "Shoot, the meat's probably about done now. We dont want it to over-cook too much."

Phew, on one hand Sabra finally calmed down. On the other hand she looked pretty bummed out once she realized she was just a tiny bit out of control there. Just a bit?

"Yeah, it happened again but... hey no big deal. It happens. And you didn't act out that badly... just a... tiny bit loud and confrontational. But hey you didn't chuck anyone into the ocean so I call this win!" said Lottie reassuringly, trying to downplay how badly Sabra acted out. She knew her friend wasn't in good place right now and didn't want her to be in any worse of place she already was. That being said, she does have another friend she will need to check up on.

"Oh right the meat! Uhh.... hey let me go check up on Alaric... see if he is still feeling hungry. I'll be right back so be sure to save piece for me!" called out Lottie as she turned around to see where it was Alaric went off to.

Sabra began to look more melancholic. Curling up into as small as her tall well muscled frame could she buried her face into her knees. "That's just is Seyyal. The bracelet is supposed to help. I'm not even sure why I'm still getting so angry..." She didn't even look up from where she was sitting now. Sabra could help but feel the tightness in her chest and the looks everyone was giving her.

Lottie she could hear was trying to cheer her up but Sabra wasn't feeling like it was helping. "Lottie the thing is I could really hurt someone here. Back home people knew what they were getting into." After saying this out loud Sabra gave a sad sigh, "Maybe I should go, you guys can have fun. I've obviously killed the mood here."

Seyyal looked to the one friend who was upset and curled up in misery and glances toward where another was running off to check on a third friend who had been driven off by the situation. Then she glanced at how her other friend's boyfriend had lion-hulked out and she sighed loudly and angrily.

"I dont know. Maybe we'd better just serve the food and then call the party over. It was supposed to be a fun celebration and now I dont feel like celebrating that much." As she spoke she returned to the cooked meat on the spit and with a flourish she conjured a sword again and slashed open the meat. Slashing rapidly twice and then one more time to sever a nice-sized slice. "Who's first?"

Madeline didn't mind too much that Shir had hulked out. She honestly liked when her boyfriend got all big and fuzzy like this. As everything was taking a moment to wind down again, Maddie hopped onto his lap and hugged him like a giant teddy bear.

She dropped the illusion hiding Alaric, but it may have been too late for Lottie to notice it. Maddie didn't entirely notice her running off.
