Claire steps into the big room, wondering how she would practice her powers. 'Okay Claire, you got this. You are new, so people are going to be a bit, different to you' She said to herself. She went over to the water fountain to get a drink. 'Wait, I don't even need to be shy or worried. People are going to love me' she thought to herself.

Wandering into the practice room, Sean looked around. There were people doing all kinds of amazing things. So this is some kind of room for training what we can do, eh? he thought with a smile. Let me see... Not entirely sure what he could do, he wandered over to the water fountain, eying the lights as a possible piece of tech to mess with. Then he noticed the girl at the fountain.

She was cute, to say the least. She also appeared nervous, so there wasn't much of an option for him. "Er...are you a bit nervous? About all this, I mean." He gestured around the room. "It can be a bit overwhelming, the school I mean." Sean smiled at the girl kindly.

She turned around fully, looking at the boy that had just talked to her. His eyes were amazing, and she could not stop looking at them. "Yeah, it can be. Especially when your greatest threat is someone who can read you thoughts, or carry around some deadly weapon."

She nervously laughed and blushed a bit. 'Smarten up! Why are you doing this? Being the funny, shy girl, that is not who you are.' She thought to herself. She wanted to change the subject. "How long have you been here?"

"Five years, you? They found me when I was ten," Sean said with a slight shrug. Eyes growing wide, he held out his hand. "I haven't introduced myself!" he laughed slightly, mentally berating himself for being a blockhead. "Sean Wilson."

Why was this girl making him like this? Come on, you're Sean Wilson, you have founded the largest corporation the world has ever seen, founded more hospitals than Nicholas Flamel did in Paris, and have been the smartest person in your class for years. Why is this girl undoing you? Trying to pep-talk himself wasn't exactly working, so he decided to wait on her to respond.

"Five years, wow. That is a long time. longer then I have done anything." She thought for a second, not quite sure how long she had been here. "I think around three weeks or so." She replied shrugging as to say she didn't really care. She looked and his hands, and remembered that she still had to introduce herself. "I am Claire Deyan." She paused and smiled a bit.

"I like your name. I have not really met a lot of Sean's." She looked around the room, in awe of how big it was. "What brings you here Sean? To this school?" She looked into his eyes, then swiftly looked away. 'You have to stop doing that Claire. You have to stop creeping people out, even though it is good for defense.' She closed her eyes for a second, then opened them, determined to only look at his eyes once in a while.

Shrugging at the bit about him being here for a long time, Sean said, "Nah, there are people who have been here for longer. Claire- I like it." With a slight blush as Claire said that she like his name, Sean glanced around.

"Well... I guess I could show you the reason I'm here." Grinning mischievously, he beckoned her over to the light switch. "Check this out." Placing his hand upon the switch, he let his mind drift into the complicated electrical wiring. There was only one thing he wanted to focus on at the moment, though: the long wire up to the lights.

With a slight tremor in his body, the lights began to flash different colors and then dim to a nice, ocean blue, like you'd see in an aquarium.

Releasing the switch, he turned, smiling sheepishly. "Um...technology is kinda my thing."

Claire was amazed by this. He was cute and awesome. "That's sweet!" Claire smiled at what he had done. "I wish I could do that. You could impress a lot of people with that."

Claire walked a bit away from him and placed her hands up to her chest, then clenched her fists. A bit of water went to her chest, then she released it and the water fell. "I can control water. I can also talk to animals."

"Eh, not many think my abilities are that impressive," Sean replied sheepishly. "In this day and age, I can more or less control the entire world if I want, but because I can't throw boulders or shoot lightning I'm not as impressive." He was speaking the words, but he didn't really believe them. There were some who thought this way, but most around here were pretty chill about it. This was reflected in his relaxed, almost laughing tone, rather than a moody tone that would usually go with such words.

"You have some awesome powers!" he said, moving on and smiling broadly at her. "There are some serious applications for your water and animal abilities that would be interesting! Like, could you essentially breathe underwater by separating the oxygen into a kind of bubble?" His mind began to run around, thinking up new ideas. There was a slight nagging idea, though. Something that brought them together. "Is this ability to speak to animals like a language or a psychic connection? Because my other ability is that I can learn any language spoken around me. It can get annoying at times, but it's useful. I know plenty of languages, got me through high school spanish fairly well."

Claire smiled at him, he was silly in a way. She hardly ever got excited, for anything, but this, this was different. She felt as if he was her best friend, which was strange because they had just met each other. As he talked, she became more curious about him, as if she wanted it ask endless questions to him. She knew though, that this wasn't the thing to do, that what she was thinking would probably be rude and weird, though claire was both rude and weird.

She wasn't sure about the whole water thingy, because she hadn't really been in a situation to try it. "I don't know. I can get rid of water around me though, creating a dome, but it isn't that powerful yet." She paused and half smiled at him. "I am still learning a lot."

She shook her head, unsure of what her powers really were. She wasn't sure if it was a connection, or that she just had it. "I guess it is a bit of both." She half smiled, trying to think of ways to explain what she meant. "I have a bond with certain animals, most animals, where they can talk to me, and visa versa. They communicate threw thought, though they can understand me if I were to say something out loud." She paused. "It is kind of complicated. Animals, for me, don't physically speak though." She sighed and thought to herself, and wondered if that made any sense. "Did that answer your questions?"

"Fair enough, it makes a bit of sense," Sean said, his super high iq going into overdrive as he wished there were more studies for their abilities. Maybe He would open a research facility with people around the school to study their brain functions. Filing this thought away for later, the young man smiled at his new friend. There was such a spark inside her, like she was truly alive and everyone else was dying inside. She was so close to nature, and he was so close to the technological world, it was almost as if they understood the spark that being so deep within ones own territory brings, something only they, with such real-world based powers, could understand.

Beyond all that, Sean decided to just be a teenager for awhile. "So what do you like to do for fun?" he asked her, gesturing that they should walk around the room as he began a leisurely stroll. "Besides being Snow White able to talk to animals, that is."
