Claire smiled at him, he was silly in a way. She hardly ever got excited, for anything, but this, this was different. She felt as if he was her best friend, which was strange because they had just met each other. As he talked, she became more curious about him, as if she wanted it ask endless questions to him. She knew though, that this wasn't the thing to do, that what she was thinking would probably be rude and weird, though claire was both rude and weird.
She wasn't sure about the whole water thingy, because she hadn't really been in a situation to try it. "I don't know. I can get rid of water around me though, creating a dome, but it isn't that powerful yet." She paused and half smiled at him. "I am still learning a lot."
She shook her head, unsure of what her powers really were. She wasn't sure if it was a connection, or that she just had it. "I guess it is a bit of both." She half smiled, trying to think of ways to explain what she meant. "I have a bond with certain animals, most animals, where they can talk to me, and visa versa. They communicate threw thought, though they can understand me if I were to say something out loud." She paused. "It is kind of complicated. Animals, for me, don't physically speak though." She sighed and thought to herself, and wondered if that made any sense. "Did that answer your questions?"
