When he moved closer to Avian, there wasn't much of a response from the birds. His movement was slow, steady, and slight, so none of them really noticed. The harpy eagle however seemed to deepen its menacing gaze.
"How uh...how did you learn about your powers? If that's not too much to ask."
"Not at all," she smiled, happy he was taking interest in her powers, "Ever since I was little, birds would always follow me around like a mother. Even when my mom would. My parents only learned my powers were dangerous when, two years ago, I got angry at a bunch of boys and accidentally unleashed a murder of crows on them...or was it ravens?"
Now it was his turn to tell more about his powers. Avian sat in anticipation, waiting to hear about his powers.
"Only like...two people outside of administration know, and I'd sort of like to keep it that way. So I'll tell you, but, um, please don't tell anyone else...
Avian nodded, suddenly with a serious look on her face. She wasn't normally one to snitch on others. Before she could hear what he really was, he stood up quickly, making her and the birds flinch. Now he really looked sick, he even said so! Avian panicked and motioned to go towards him to help, but held herself back, not wanted to get retched on.
"What should I do, what should I do?!" she murmured in a panic to herself.
Should she just wait to see what happens or should she go get help? Ugh! If he were a bird, he would be so much easier to care for right now!
