William almost smiled, but couldn't quite bring himself to do it as he watched the boy attempt to rebuild his barriers. It was in Will's nature to feel bad for him, even though he had yet to reveal his actual intentions. For all Will knew, he actually had a genuine reason for being hated, and the boy just didn't want to reveal it yet.
So, he did as he was told and walked over to the other side of the bench. He leaned his back its back and finally uncrossed his arms, feeling that he had composed himself. Although he didn't want to be told off again, it was a small risk he wanted to take.
"Believe it or not, my goal isn't to... piss you off." He said the word with some difficulty. "So, I did what you asked and got out of your sight. I can also try being less happy, but that will be kind of hard. And if your definition of a 'person' is normal human being, then I'll be glad to inform you that I'm not one."
He turned in the direction of the boy. "Am I still pissing you off?"
