Plots for a Child Vampire

I'm trying to decide on what direction I want to take my character Diam, and figured I'd throw him out here to see what bites.

Diam is a very old vampire with the appearance of a child. He is rather intelligent and enjoys taking the role of mentor or advisor. One thought I had was that it might be interesting to officially make him an adviser for the academy, as this would open him up to more interactions with students.

Another idea I had was for him to begin to tire of his long life and start looking for something/someone who livens it up enough for him to feel comfortable in his routine again.

Of course I'm open to other ideas as well. It's always fun just watching him interact with new people.

@Saber That sounds like a good match. Diam would certainly enjoy guiding Nathan through things. I suspect it would be a simple matter for them to meet at the school, unless you would prefer somewhere else? I was considering setting up a proper shop for his dolls as well.
