She was silent as Aedan spoke. Just as his words had flared up such volatile emotions in her a moment ago, now his words were slowly calming her down.
She wanted so badly to know of her past but as this year had progress, she was becoming more and more convinced that she would never be able to learn of who she was. It was a painful thought and not one she wanted to accept. When she had recognized Aedan's song it felt like the moment she had been waiting for. But maybe she was wrong...
Slowly Nia pulled herself out of the ball on the floor, her eyes peering up at Aedan. She still looked upset and her body still shook but she no longer felt that fire of emotion. She didn't really know what to say in response to all that had just transpired but she knew she had to make one thing clear.
"Aedan... Since I've been here I haven't remembered anything. The only thing that I have known is a song. I don't know what it is but whenever I go out and walk in the garden I like to hum it to myself." She paused, choosing her words careful. "I heard the tune of that song in your song. It felt like something out of a dream...like...like deja vu."
