She listened to Aedan as he played a few notes. It was interesting sounding, not quite what she had expected to hear but it seemed fairly simply. She took the instrument back, it's size almost doubling in her tiny hands, and blew softly into it as Aedan had done.
The notes that followed where not nearly as melodic as what Aedan had played. They were off key and pitch and, well, just off in general. Nia cringed a bit at the sound and then tried once more, blowing only in one spot no longer trying to copy the motion her friend had performed.
This time the note was clear and held its tune for a moment or two before Nia's breath began to waver. She pulled the instrument away from her lips and looked up at Aedan, "I think I want to get this one."
