Basil was definitely driving away a few people from the lounge, his usual corrupted aura seeping in fast. He'd tried to visit a little later in the night, but there were still people to disturb. Even so, he was never one to resist comfy chairs and mild lighting. Not to mention, it was a surprisingly roomy place, he noted appreciatively- so it wasn't like he could scare off everyone. That was good, and meant he probably wouldn't get in trouble with his curious wandering. He drank all the sights in, committing them to his almost perfect memory. The more he saw in this place, the more eager he felt.

He easily won a sofa, plopping down and spreading his lanky self out on it. He earned a few glares for the action, and only grinned wider. He wasn't in one of the most populated spots, but not too far away either- he needed to be close enough to the activity to people watch, after all. Probably even eavesdrop a little, too. His hobbies were, obviously, very respectable. And boy, he was good at them.

He decided, after letting his eyes wander, to watch a red-haired girl who was currently in the spotlight. She had just as much freckles as he had! To Basil, that was a good enough reason as any to take a vague interest. His reasoning was his own, as always. And he could feel intrigue in the air. This girl seemed like she could make waves. That was exactly what he liked.

Cheska sat in a corner, blinking as many people upped and left as another male wandered into the lounge. She shrugged her shoulders and yawned, tilting her head back as she studied the male, fingers of her left hand wiggling toward him.

"Hiya. Cheska's the name." She offered, her voice quiet, a soft murmur. The people around her turned to stare at the newcomer, before vying for her attention again.

Basil unceremoniously crept up to the girl, ignoring the mix of annoyed and unsettled ogling he received for it from the groupies- but in a surprisingly easy manner, they quickly went back to their needy behaviors. Basil, who had already been smirking, broke out in a grin. It stretched his pretty face, and added to his unnatural presence. In the back of his mind, he missed the sofa he had nabbed. But he wanted to see what these people were making a fuss over, up close.

Darkness naturally followed his footsteps.

She was looking rather sleepy and sounding it as well, speaking in soft tones, but still stood out. Basil could admire that, and his sunny manner very much contradicted the vibe his body poured out, raining on the moods and senses of others.

Basil gave his own flutter of long fingers. "Salutations! Things happen around you, don't they? I'm very fond of that in my company. My intuition on it is never wrong." He smiled in what he hoped was a less sharklike fashion than before. "Also, freckles," he said, as though it needed no further explanation. "and your fanclub? Very amusing. Good stuff."

Basil slipped his hands behind his back, and rocked back and forth a little on his feet, after his share of the slightly odd, but mostly friendly, rambling he was known for. He never stopped smiling.
