When Ferret tossed their second card away, Carmin just watched as it fell a short ways away. He cursed under his breath when the teacher didn't notice the little display. He would've loved nothing more than to see this little devil get dragged to the principals office. He met eyes with another student for just a moment as they picked up the card and set it on a nearby desk. Their eyes quickly telling him that they were sorry for him before abandoning him with his fate.

Carmin's face quickly contorted to express the disgust he felt towards Ferret's words. There was something seriously wrong with this girl. In a few minutes, they'd already solidified them self as the rudest person he'd met since coming to the school. He let his expression fade back into something a little more emotionless, deciding to bottle everything up for the time being. That being said, his eyes looked to be pent up with venom, just begging to be released. He managed to keep his mouth shut for the time being, turning toward the teacher to hear what instructions she had for them.

"Alright class," Celeste said as she addressed the room. "As you can see from the recipe cards, pasta involves only a few ingredients... flour, eggs, a bit of salt and a smidgen of olive oil," she began.

"To start, in a large stainless steel bowl - which you will find under your counter," she explained, showing where it could be found.

"You will measure 2 cups of the flour from the packet in your basket," she said holding up the cup that they were to use and filling it with flour from her own basket. Then she dumped it in her bowl, and repeated the process.

"After measuring the flour into the bowl, you make a small well or indentation in the middle of flour," she said to the class and waited calmly for them to start on the first few steps of the recipe.

Looking over the plant student and taking in his obvious anger, a slight smirk began to spread across Ferret's face. He was obviously a hot blooded one, which meant it wouldn't take much effort at all to get some entertainment out of him. This was good. "Hey now, no need to get worked up! Let's just work together and be suuuper good friends."

Snickering, she shook her head and glamced back to Celeste. The terminology was new, but she was a pretty good visual learner. Grabbing the bowl, she dropped it unceremoniously onto their workstation before promptly tearing open the bag of flour with her teeth, opening it up with a messy puff that got all over herself and Carmin. However, she didn't seem to care at all, shoving the flour bag at her partner. "Here, measure it."

Hearing the teacher's instructions was a nice breather from the monster beside him. It helped that the tasks didn't seem particularly hard too. Regardless of how useless Ferret was, he'd be able to do all of those things on his own.

Of course, that didn't end up being an option. Before he could even begin, Ferret went ahead and grabbed the bowl, dropping it as crudely as possible onto the counter. Carmin recoiled just slightly as she did this, breathing in and out trying not to get worked up in the moments following. Then came the puff of flour, which coated his entire face with a thin layer. He looked up at Ferret, practically trembling with a very serious look upon his face, only to have the bag shoved at him.

Through gritted teeth, he responded obediently. "Sure... Thing." With dead eyes, he took the bag and set it down on the counter. Then he took out the cup and filled it with the flour, dumping it into the bowl and repeating. He was trying to interact with Ferret as little as possible, perhaps they would get bored and lay off. He was far too close to an outburst and it was all he could really do. Unfortunately, his eyes didn't do a good job of hiding his true feelings.

Hearing the loud bang and thump as a stainless steel bowl echo through the class as it suddenly hit the counter, made Celeste jump slightly and then peer around the room to see what had happened. Noticing the rest of the class glancing furtively at the station where Carmin and Ferret were, made Celeste sigh internally - especially when she noticed the cloud of flour rising up from their station.

Deciding to just keep an eye on the pair, Celeste took three eggs out of the carton and placed them on the counter.

"Okay, it looks like you have all measured your flour into your bowl," she said calmly. "Now take three eggs and break them into the flour and then add a tablespoon of olive oil," she explained as she broke one egg at a time into her own bowl with flour.

It was beyond obvious just how exasperated the teacher and her partner both were. For Ferret's part, she was endlessly amused by all this, especially the little green ball of barely contained anger at her side. Grinning wildly, she stuck her fist straight into the bowl to make the requisite well, not even wiping it off before grabbing for an egg.

"Break the eggs...breeeaaak the eggs. Got it. You do the oil, Flower Power." Instead of the proper cracking that Celeste displayed, Ferret saw no issue in taking 'break' as forcefully as possible, just crushing the egg in her hand and dropping the entire mess in, shell and all. Noticing that they had twice the number of eggs that they needed, the dragon picked another up, and as casually as could be just crunched the entire thing, apparently greatly enjoying it even raw and with the whole shell on.

Carmin turned to the teacher for the next set of instructions, already fearing how much of a mess Ferret was going to make with these next steps. He wanted to make it clear that he'd be the one cracking the eggs, but before he could, Ferret butted in just as she had before. The way she repeated the task made it far too obvious that she was going to do it horribly wrong, but it was clear that he didn't have a choice in the matter. Fighting was not exactly a good choice if he wanted to make it through the class.

Signs of his eventual explosion began bubbling over, beginning with a click of the tongue in response to Ferret's horrible nickname for him. "Tch." Still, he complied, getting out the oil and measuring a spoonful to toss in. Only to watch in horror as she crushed the egg with her hand and tossed the whole thing in. He said nothing, but his jaw dropped with disgust. Before he could even say anything, the devil took an egg and crunched it like a potato chip.

Carmin took two deep breaths, carefully preventing what was almost a loud shout. Instead, a quiet mix between whispering and yelling squeaked out "What's wrong with you?"

Just as she had hoped, Carmin was teetering rapidly closer to blowing up. His direct confrontation of her for the first time so far caused her fanged grin to widen, a distinctly pleased laugh leaving her a moment later. "Huh? What's wrong with me? I've been in a great mood this whole time, just doing my work, unlike someone who's been grumbling up a storm and in general being a negative little shit."

Snickering derisively, she tossed another egg up in the air and chomped that one down as well, dusting her flour covered hands on her shirt. Abruptly, however, she turned back to Carmin and leaned right into his face, serpentine pupils constricting and her voice lowered for the first time all class. "If you have an issue with me, though...I'm sure we can work it out."

She seemed so... pleased. Laughing before giving a response unlike anything Carmin could've expected. Could she actually not tell how much of a dirt bag she was being? When she talked about him under a negative light, Carmin took a step back. Something about the height she had on him, combined with her vulgar language, had him feeling threatened.

He watched with complete distaste as she went and did it again, proving just how little authority he had over her by devouring yet another one of their ingredients. Carmin huffed, ready to give her a piece of the anger that was ripe and ready to be unleashed. But then she faced him once again, this time looking the part of the monster.

Their eyes met, and in that short moment, the anger was entirely converted into fear. Carmin froze with a look of terror, before tears started to well up in his eyes. Giving up on his goals of making it through the class, he turned tail and ran for the door.

He headed for the washroom, somewhere to hide until he stopped crying, but had no luck. He didn't use them anymore and hadn't really paid attention to where they were located. With nowhere to go, he went to a wall a short ways outside the class and pouted there. He sat against it, putting his arms on his knees and hiding his face in his arms.

Watching in shocked surprise as Carmin suddenly ran out of the classroom, Celeste finally lost her temper. "Ferret!" she said in a commanding tone. "I want to see you after class," she said coolly, in a no-nonsense tone.

"Class, mix the eggs and flour together to form a ball, use your hands. I will be back in a minute," Celeste instructed as she headed very purposefully out of the classroom, her high heels clicking angrily against the linoleum, as she went in search of Carmin.

Finding him sitting on the floor not far away from the classroom, Celeste approached the boy. "Are you okay?" she asked, genuinely concerned about her student and with what had just transpired in her class.
