When Ferret tossed their second card away, Carmin just watched as it fell a short ways away. He cursed under his breath when the teacher didn't notice the little display. He would've loved nothing more than to see this little devil get dragged to the principals office. He met eyes with another student for just a moment as they picked up the card and set it on a nearby desk. Their eyes quickly telling him that they were sorry for him before abandoning him with his fate.

Carmin's face quickly contorted to express the disgust he felt towards Ferret's words. There was something seriously wrong with this girl. In a few minutes, they'd already solidified them self as the rudest person he'd met since coming to the school. He let his expression fade back into something a little more emotionless, deciding to bottle everything up for the time being. That being said, his eyes looked to be pent up with venom, just begging to be released. He managed to keep his mouth shut for the time being, turning toward the teacher to hear what instructions she had for them.

"Alright class," Celeste said as she addressed the room. "As you can see from the recipe cards, pasta involves only a few ingredients... flour, eggs, a bit of salt and a smidgen of olive oil," she began.

"To start, in a large stainless steel bowl - which you will find under your counter," she explained, showing where it could be found.

"You will measure 2 cups of the flour from the packet in your basket," she said holding up the cup that they were to use and filling it with flour from her own basket. Then she dumped it in her bowl, and repeated the process.

"After measuring the flour into the bowl, you make a small well or indentation in the middle of flour," she said to the class and waited calmly for them to start on the first few steps of the recipe.

Looking over the plant student and taking in his obvious anger, a slight smirk began to spread across Ferret's face. He was obviously a hot blooded one, which meant it wouldn't take much effort at all to get some entertainment out of him. This was good. "Hey now, no need to get worked up! Let's just work together and be suuuper good friends."

Snickering, she shook her head and glamced back to Celeste. The terminology was new, but she was a pretty good visual learner. Grabbing the bowl, she dropped it unceremoniously onto their workstation before promptly tearing open the bag of flour with her teeth, opening it up with a messy puff that got all over herself and Carmin. However, she didn't seem to care at all, shoving the flour bag at her partner. "Here, measure it."

Hearing the teacher's instructions was a nice breather from the monster beside him. It helped that the tasks didn't seem particularly hard too. Regardless of how useless Ferret was, he'd be able to do all of those things on his own.

Of course, that didn't end up being an option. Before he could even begin, Ferret went ahead and grabbed the bowl, dropping it as crudely as possible onto the counter. Carmin recoiled just slightly as she did this, breathing in and out trying not to get worked up in the moments following. Then came the puff of flour, which coated his entire face with a thin layer. He looked up at Ferret, practically trembling with a very serious look upon his face, only to have the bag shoved at him.

Through gritted teeth, he responded obediently. "Sure... Thing." With dead eyes, he took the bag and set it down on the counter. Then he took out the cup and filled it with the flour, dumping it into the bowl and repeating. He was trying to interact with Ferret as little as possible, perhaps they would get bored and lay off. He was far too close to an outburst and it was all he could really do. Unfortunately, his eyes didn't do a good job of hiding his true feelings.
