So, I'm trying something new, well, multiple things. Cat-people and child characters. Basically, it's a young boy around 8-12 years old that has a cat tail and ears. The details of his heritage are unknown so far, and as such up for debate.

Like the title suggests, I'm looking for someone to be the parent of him. They don't have to be the biological parent, but they still have to "try" and keep him out of trouble.

I can "try" to do this with my character Heath. Emphasis on the "try" part. He's okay at child-rearing in theory, but he is on the island to look for his daughter who he has put through angst and trauma.

Downsides of Heath as a father are:
—you're never going to get a good nights rest. This man is attacked by demons every night.
—He's a bit emotionally stunted, but he will try his best to take care of you.
—He's looking for his daughter. That's his primary interest. You may feel like a... side-kid? Or you know, not as loved. But that may not be the case! I only know how to write angst

Well my student Matty could be a parent or older sister type if you want, she's very responsible and won't care the kid is half cat. Though she has a companion in the form of a Tufted Ground Squirrel, so if the kid doesn't mind him. This means in dealing with his sarcastic nature (yes he talks) and not attacking him, which is in advisable as he's a carnivous squirrel.

otherwise I'm still working on a teacher character called Fig Scarborough, who would help the kid as long as he doesn't attack the two bird families that like to hang around him. Plus he's half tree so he has no issues with half cats, but I've got a little editing to do before he's accepted but it should be shortly.

Check out Ike, labeled as "a historian" in my signature. He'd probably fit perfectly, considering he already deals with young ones on a very regular basis.
