He looked at her as she spoke, was he bitter? Perhaps, but it was directed at himself, despite him being a victim. "Let me ask you something. If someone used you as a pupet...made you horrible things.....how would you react?" There was no sarcasm, no anger, he honestly wanted to know, was he being weak? Was he wrong?

He looked at her, the glow of his eyes changing slightly as he waited for her answer.

Her eyes turned back to meet him, examining his reaction just as much as he was observing her.

It was a simple truth, Aedan had no choice, he didn't kill those people, his body had been controlled by evil men, and it unlikely anyone could broken through. "Is it that simple?" he asked looking at her, " do I just go..."it wasn't really me"....and let it go?"

He sighed and leaned back against the wall, "I can't help it...but...think about those people......your right....it wasn't me." It was an admission of something he already knew, but hadnt accepted.

He gave her a small smile, "it's been like poison in my head," he sighed and rubbed his head, "I've told a few people about my past....but I've tried to hide how bad I really am."

"Should I just tell them?....My friends that is.....They all have lives, they don't need my problems," he sighed a bit, "I hate the idea of others having to deal with my problems."

I-If they're close to y-y-you though... They would p-probably want t-to know... So they could h-help... or at least not a-a-aggravate your condition..."

He nodded, but his small smile faded as he realised there wouldn't be anymore hiding, "thank you, it hasn't been easy doing this alone."

He sighed a bit, "I kind of...found out that I don't have flashbacks....or nightmares when I...drink." Well there it was, only Addy and Malara were aware of that, he hadn't even told his girlfriend Tesa yet, "yea I know, stupid of me.......I think I'm going to go ahead and tell some of councillors about it, see if I can get into a program to help me stop."

Emily looked slightly taken aback as he made his second statement. It was less judgemental and more surprised, like she hadn't expected such a thing of him, nor for him to volunteer the information so readily. "... U-Um... W-Well yes... Definitely get help f-for that... E-Excessive drunkenness i-isn't a h-h-healthy solution... H-Have you developed... Any other u-um... D-Destructive habits...?"

He bit his lip, in truth Aedan tended to care very little about himself, but recently he'd to come to realize that he had people who cared about him, his friends and his girlfriend, "I smoke.....though that's not as bad as the drinking."

He sighed, "some of my friends say I take too many risks......sometimes they accuse me of having a death wish." He shook his head, "I don't want to die...but....," he trailed off for a bit trying to put his words together, "others are just.....worth more than me...I think I should put others first."
