Seyyal's sword strangely slid right into the rock as if it wasn't real and the music sort of warbled and shifted for a moment but then continued on.

Little flickers of lights began dancing at the corners of their vision.

"Lottie, blast it!" She called out as she abandoned the one sword and made to dive away so she wouldn't be caught in any crossfire.

"On it!" cried out Lottie whom let her magic surge forth from her wand in bolt of brilliant blue and purple raced to the strange rock.

Upon impact it detonated in a brilliant blast of magical energies. As the dust disputed there was... nothing. Lottie was surprised to see not only the stone gone but the music as well which just quietly faded into silence. Not even a fragment of rock was around and though Lottie knew the spell to be a bit destructive, there should have been some remains around.

Did she... truly destroy it? Or was it only transposed to some new location just before impact? Well for now it seemed it was gone and her head could rest easily.

"Huh... I guess that did the trick?" said Lottie, kicking at the ground where that strange rock once was. Still... something in her gut told her something was off. Something very off.

Seyyal dove away and rolled across the ground as the blast of magic burst behind her like something out of a fantastic story. As she blew her hair out of her face and picked herself up she nodded. "Sure seems like it. Lottie... I don't really understand what just happened. But I think we're ok now?"

As they looked around there didn't appear to be any more foes or apparent threats and even more surprising than that- after looking down at where the rock was and then back up at the sky there was no longer a bubble of magic in the distance where they had needed to trick their way through. It was just normal land.

"Maybe we should rest up and then head back and check on the others. I'm worried they might have had something just as dangerous their way too."

Lottie listened to her friend but was still staring at the spot where that strange musical rock was, questions still lingering in her head.

"Yeah... maybe. Well we should probably get a little bit of distance from this place first and then rest. Just in case someone or something comes by here." suggested Lottie as walk over to her Seyyal, still very much concerned.

"You... heard that music right? I... thought I recognized from Manta Carlos during that festival... but... how is that this song was being played here of all places? It... doesn't make sense..."

Seyyal threw her arm around her friend as she approached. "Distance is good. I still have a chill going down my back about that music. I don't get how we could hear something from Manta Carlos here. I'd say coincidence but... that was too powerful to just be some sort of trick. I felt like I might collapse if we didn't shut it off."

Indeed it had felt fairly similar to the few times she'd been knocked unconscious in fights before. The mind just giving up on processing things when it got too painful or difficult. She began to lead the way out of the camp so they could find a hiding spot in the fields around to make their own little campsite.

"I guess maybe it was set to use stuff from our heads to mess with us? Either that or somehow-" she cut off suddenly and drastically changed subjects. Nothing in her expression showed she noticed the sudden change at all. "I hope the others are ok. We should rest up and then head back and check on them. I'm worried they might have had something just as dangerous their way too."

"Yeah I just felted like I would just... fall over and collapse at any moment." agreed Lottie while her friend brings her in with an arm around the shoulder.

Even as she returned a smirk back, part of her wondered if this was going to be the last of this... anomaly. Lottie could tell that it was eating at Seyyal as well but rather than continue to dwell they instead shift their discussion to their companions and their well-being. A welcomed distraction.

"Oh you know those two, they will be fine. With Sabra kicking butt and Seyyal with their potions they handle anything." assured Lottie as she shrugs off the arm on her shoulders and beckons Seyyal with wave of her hand.

"But we should get going on check up on them now. Then when we regroup and can go over everything we all discovered."
