Seyyal cringed slightly at the description of what an accident would be like if Lottie messed up the swap. But she had confidence her friend would not mess it up- and if she did... well, she probably wouldn't know.
At least she had been swapped by Lottie before, so the sudden change in locations didn't mess with her head quite so much. But it was still always a bit of a lurch, needing a moment to reorient herself. Seyyal took a few breaths and then looked around to ground herself in her new location. Setting the astonishing appearance of the magic barrier and the sudden appearance of music aside for the moment, Seyyal shook her head at Lottie and pointed to her ear. No sound. She couldn't hear her.
But she knew Lottie needed to get in too. Rather than waste any of their precious time searching for another target she reached down to slip her hand into one of the pouches at her belt. With a practiced flourish she pulled out a handful of sand and cast it into the air before her. A flash of sunlight hit the newly formed blade as she caught it and held it up for Lottie to see clearly. Then lobbed it up in the air so it would stick in the ground where the mage could see it, still within the magic bubble. "Hope that's good enough Lottie. Really don't want to be searching too far without you."
