This was going to be awkward.

A blonde woman dressed in lots of pink waited for her old flame. Her childhood sweetheart came back after so long. She had given up a few years ago in favor of acting upon her polyamorous desires. She wasn't necessarily against taking Chris back, but before they could figure out their relationship she had to tell the truth. There was something she hadn't shared with him while he was away in America. She knew he had been working hard (Though she held her suspicions about his activities at times), and she was afraid. She also underestimated just how much of a workaholic he was.

The truth was Abia Defan had a child. No, not Theodore Hudson. She birthed a child....and it was Chris'.

She knew it was him because it happened when she was only with him. They embraced one another thirteen years ago. They were both madly in love young adults, and they chose to express that in an adult fashion. But somehow protection failed them because months after Christopher went away, Abia found out she was pregnant. She couldn't believe it at first; she spent the first few months trying to write off her symptoms as her just being ill or having an irregular period. However, when she began to put on weight, the reality hit her like a brick to the face. Not wanting to abort her lover's child, she went through the steps necessarily to ensure her baby's well-being. She did this all while attending college.

It was hard being a single mother, but being rich alleviated some of that stress. When she went into labor and had Angelica, she elected not to inform Chris that he had left her with a child. She was scared and paranoid about what he would think. Would he not want to come back? Would he be disinterested in fatherhood? Would he complain about being tied down so soon? That combined with her own struggles on her unknown sexuality put a lot of pressure on her. She kept her mouth shut and wrote nothing about it in her letters. The woman buried herself deep in work and motherhood.

Now he was back after so many years and he...he still didn't know. His daughter was thirteen years old now, and she did not know her biological father. It was time to fess up. Sometime ago, she sent a letter to him out of frustration. The fact that her lover left her alone for so long made her angry. She wrote a terrible threat to him and sent it without thinking. He arrived almost immediately after that. When she heard his voice once more, she was stunned. What now? The female couldn't just let him come over to her house; there was no way he wouldn't notice the two children running about alongside the guards. She had to tell it to him straight but not overwhelm him.

Why was she so stupid thirteen years ago?

Abia glanced behind her. It was hard to believe that the same restaurant they went to as teens was still here. It brought her good memories. She wondered if they could share more memories together, or if their relationship was too far from being repairable.

Chris made a lot of choices In his life. There was never really moments he wished he could changed. In all honesty he had learned to live with the mistakes he made he rarely apologized for them. His biggest mistake was of course leaving the island to work on his corporation. He hadn't really thought he would be gone as long as he was, he never thought he'd but that many years and miles between him and his old flame. He hadnt realized how much he missed her until her letter.

Even when he steped out the shadow he could tell that things had changed. He liked the memories but the strong feeling wasn't there anymore. He wasn't really a person with many emotions. However regret, he could feel as walked into the table where abia was. Nothing hand changed about the restaurant, but everything had changed about the two people sitting at the table.

He didn't know what he was waiting for, probably something to say. He didn't have much to say, Christopher was used to living with the choices he made. He offered her a small smile before he relaxed. She obviously wanted to meet for a reason and he was more than willing to listen.

"I hope your day has been well so far" he said politely.

The woman went in and acquired a table for two. Some people were giving her pitying looks as she sat there. It made her annoyed. She knew Chris was reliable enough; he would never dream of ditching her. If she could, then she would've shot her gun once and told the onlookers to beat it. She found herself looking at the various milkshakes as Christopher arrived to the table. From the corner of her eye, she noticed a figure standing there and glanced up to see her childhood sweetheart. The blonde beamed at the man and gestured towards the seat across from her.

"Chrissy! Sit down this instant!~"

Abia exclaimed in her bubbly voice. Despite having changed and gotten older, she sounded a lot like the excited cheerleader he knew from high school. She retained her girly habits and good looks. Her face matured to a degree, but her attire....well, it was Abia. The closest thing to a real life Barbie doll you'd probably get. She glanced back at the menu but focused mostly on him as he presumably sat down. Or perhaps for some reason he'd elect not to. She didn't seem inclined on getting up at the moment.

"My day has been fine, but yours....well, it's about to get rather interesting."

She didn't feel like beating around the bush. Her eyes fluttered at him.

"There's some news that I should've told you long before this. I'm sure we'll have a lot to share with one another this evening, but there's something really important."

Then the stupid ass waiter showed up asking them what they would like to drink. She wanted to facepalm but didn't. Instead the corner of her mouth twitched furiously as she thought about an answer. Perhaps Chris would have one? The blonde was taken off guard by the intrusion.

Chris sat down and smiled. It was nice to see her again. In fact it almost made him feel like he was 13 years younger. There was some really good memories, he pushed those aside. He was never one to dwell on things that wouldn't turn out bad. He needed to figure out how to plan this, how to work ahead.

"Okay? Whatever it is, I'm all ears" he said quietly unfolding his napkin and placing his menu to the side. He was already planing five different responses to six different scenarios in his head. None of them prepared him for what she would truly say.
