One Man's Gaze

Atom heard Lahi move but didn't bother to get up. He was much too comfortable and at ease to do so. It felt good to be in the presence of someone, especially someone with such good energy and a pleasant vibe. It doesn't seem like anything can get her down. For that, Atom envied her. She seemed much to upbeat to let anything get in her way. Atom looked at the stars and wondered what it would have been like had she not have come by.

When Lahi continued talking, Atom found that there was something that could bring her spirits down. She clearly didn't like the learning environment, its too slow and boring for her. "Learning isn't all bad." Atom spoke up as he gazed above. "Though if you hadn't been trying so hard to live it up before you left, I may have never met you. So for that, I am grateful." He confessed. He didn't know how to respond to her maniacal teasing so he just continued on. "How should I repay you for, you know, not letting me die?" He asked due to lack of better conversation. There was a good chance that she would say there was no need but even if it was just a conversation starter, he could have something good on his mind anyways.

Atom hadn't expected such a peculiar request. It was unique in his eyes considering most would ask for an item, money, or anything of the like. But not this girl. "Fruit..." He said to himself as he thought of how he would go about this. "Does she expect me to just make some fruit? That is a little harder to do. Not impossible but hard considering the fact that's its not just a random object." he thought to himself as he stared to the sky above

"What if I just took you to a diner or something? Would that be much easier? Ill be paying obviously." He suggested. The way she said it made it seem like she wanted him to just make the fruit, and chances are hmshe did. Though she did just call him lazy. This kind of proves it.
