Today was the day that Ruby will be living on Manta Carlos officially. He couldn't afford another night in the hotel he was at despite his various....ahem, attempts, at getting the owner to let him stay. Fucking stingy bastard.
So he decided to hit up Evie and she seemed down to let him stay for a bit. Which was great! Cool! Awesome! He was still in the hiring process for the job on the space station so he settled on finding a part time job on the island for now.
He was also completely used to the island's atmosphere so that was a positive! Out of a long list of negatives....
Ruby arrived at the apartment complex and was....not really blown away. It was extremely generic looking, even for Earth standards. They guess Evie really did live in a crappy place huh.
It was no problem, yet. Her apartment couldn't be worse than hitching a ride on a Space Debris Cleaner Ship which was just a fancy way of saying a garbage truck for space.
If it was that bad, he could try hitting up Yvarn....but Yvarn already did enough helping. Ruby just sighed and made his way over to the complex with his small luggage bag floating behind him.
Ruby floated on through the complex until he made it to the right door. He was sure this was the right door. Unless he is dumb and still can't comprehend Earth's numbering system.
He knocked on the door a few times and waited for an answer.
