Yikmo's eyes brightened as Olive nodded and repeated her name. He got it right! He was so proud of himself for being right. He was having so much fun with his new friend Oli-

Oh no, why did she frown? Yikmo's green orbs became filled with concern. He leaned forward and pointed at his mouth, frowning, then back to her. He wanted to know if she was okay! She was very nice and made good flowers, he didn't want her to be sad!

"O-Oh! I was frowning?" She brightened her smile for Yikmo's sake. "Mi dispiace, I was thinking about my family, in Italy. They are going to call me when they have found a new home!" She apologized, and smiled, for real this time. "It's nice to meet you, Yikmo." At least, she hoped that was his name - it was what was printed on his jacket. Sitting down, the tiny Fae toyed with a petal of one of her flowers.

Yikmo pointed at the name printed on his jacket and then to himself, nodding. THat was his name! He was glad his friend was smiling now, he didn't like it when people were sad, especially his friends. Yikmo nodded and gave a thumbs up to show that he enjoyed meeting her too.

The little herbokinetic sat quietly, looking out over the hill with his big green eyes, smiling softly. He was having a very good day. He had fun swinging, and met a really nice friend.

Olive giggled as she sat right beside the herbokinetic, being careful to not get squished by him. He really was tall... As were, presumably, all humans here. "You grow plants, like me! That is super cool!" It really was - seeing another who could grow flowers like she could, and even olives and berries! She would have to put that on her list of training skills. Though, would that mean more classes to go to? Eww! She didn't like school, not by much - too many people and too many things too big for her. Which reminded her. "Do you go to school?"

The bright smile on the herbokinetics face never faltered as Olive praised him. His new friend thought he was cool! He had to bring her to meet his dad, she would love him! Everybody loved his dad, he was the coolest. Maybe one of his uncles would be there too!

Oh! School! He held up one thumb and nodded rapidly! He liked his classes. He was even learning sign language! He wasn't very good at it yet, but he knew how to say hello!

He pointed at her, and tilted his head. Did his new friend go to school? She probably did, she looked really smart.

Olive's grin grew as she realized he went to the same school as her. "You go to school too?! Yay! I go to school as well! But English classes are very different... They are hard to do." Her smile turned sheepish. "I much like the forest better." He acted like a little brother - she was sure Papa and Mama would love her new friend! Not only was he nice, and super tall, he was also a .. Oh what was the word? Herbo-something. A plant person!

Yikmo nodded, smiling brightly. He didn't have english yet, but they did do writing! It was really fun. He was really good at his letters, he got a gold star on his last assignment! His dad put it on the fridge. It was so cool!

He looked out over the trees, kicking his feet a bit and grinning. He liked the forest too. It always felt so...fun! Not like the city. The city felt cold a lot, but the forest was always so warm and happy. He wanted to bring his new friend to meet his dad! That'd be fun! Olive would like his dad, he was so nice.

He yawned, stretching slightly, a few of the flowers turning a dark blue, trying to make it more comfortable lightwise for the young herbokinetic.

[it's no problem ^^ i know how that feels tbh. On another note - I think we should close up this thread soon. I'm gonna set up the Olive plot right after.]

Olive, grinning, glanced around at the many flowers around them, her and her new little brother. They were turning such a pretty shade of blue! Almost like the sky at night. She could even swear she'd seen little stars twinkling (but then again, those could have been little pollen dust thingies). This is why she liked the forest much better! Such pretty colors and interesting people who didn't try to step on her. And lots of plants to grow, too!
She wished she could show her big sister the Forest - but oh, what if she had seen it before? The moth-person seemed to know a lot. Either way...
"Your plants are pretty," she told Yikmo.
