His attempt to make the young man not feel so bad about what he did wasn’t helping. It had been his mistake leading Sekai on right in the middle of opening hours. He hadn’t meant to but the teasing was too amusing to pass up and he enjoyed seeing a side of Sekai that no ever saw. When Sekai took his hands away from his head Dorian looked at him a moment. He seemed so scared that he didn’t even want to feed from him again. That was fine but why did he feels so strange and feeling as if the boy might not even return anymore. He pulled his hands from Sekai’s grasp and pulled the band from his hair then pushed the hair back fixing the messed up parts.
The hair was genuinely soft and he wondered if that was natural or stuff that he used to make it silky. “You could what? Kill me? I doubt it. Kill a customer? Nope not gonna happen either. I was careless because I was so busy trying to figure out the different sides of you that I wasn’t being cautious enough. This situation…all of it…is my fault.” He brushed his fingers across his cheeks before dropping it to his side. The other hand reached up and dipped his finger into the ice cream and brought it to his lips.
“I did drink too and your vampire reflexes moved out of the way and I slammed my head into the door. So that was a factor of me passing out. Do not think that you are going to get away without eating when you’re here. We just have to take a little more precaution as to where we do it. Perhaps in the room.”
He thought a moment wondering if he should install a bolt and magic lock. He could maybe find that on the black market. It would prevent Sekai from just undoing the bolt but then if something seriously happened he needed to be able to release an alarm for help. He needed a trustworthy friend to be here. Dorian felt as if he was scientist trying to figure out the sides of Sekai through all this, even though he enjoyed teasing the boy, he would never admit that out loud. He kept his strange grumpiness to ward off potential people that liked to take advantage of others.
“So don’t not come back…or I’ll come kidnap you at the school and you do not want to me to come make a spectacle of myself.”
