@NightRaine
With one knee braced on the counter top it gave him a little bit of an edge to launch himself further in need be, he could, but the top was smooth and slick and with the contents of the glass from earlier wetting it that down played that advantage quickly. The boy's smaller form slid sideways in the juice and simply moved with the flow of the actions Dorian took against him by grasping his hair. The hair in question was pulled in to the same high pony tail leaving it bunched perfectly in one area for controlling of his head if taken just right. His form moved to give the grab some leeway that would bring him less pain, a habit he picked up long ago despite Dorian not seeming to want to harm him, just as he didn't want to before but such a thing was hard to break free of.
He was so close, the fangs just ghosting over the surface and so close he could almost feel them sinking in already when they hadn't. The moment in time which really was simply a moment, that the bar owner held him off to take a puff from his cigarette and to release his hair was just enough to bring their bodies colliding harder than either likely anticipated, at least it was true in Sekai's case. His hand released the man's jaw and gripped his shoulder instead since he was leaning forward on the counter top but it wasn't to keep himself up as much as it was to grip and hold the older man in place, his sharp nails easily cutting through the material of his shirt and vest and probably the skin beneath that.
Just as before there was nothing romantic about the way Sekai's teeth slid in to the skin like a hot knife through butter. The only good part about it was the fact that his canines were so sharp that it was a quick bite and not one where he had to struggle and chew to break the skin, which meant less pain in the long run. The blood bubbled to the surface and spilled over in to the waiting mouth and it formed a wet vice against the wound to nurse it away. But, there was to be a change in plans this time it seemed. He had barely taken any blood, likely less than a pint before the door to the bar swung open and admitted patrons for business. The boy didn't look up or even shift his position in the slightest to show that he acknowledged their existence. They didn't matter.
The bar owner did seem to notice and mind if the way he grabbed Sekai and dropped them both down behind the bar, him looking like a fish out of water with the way he just flopped, was anything to go by. Sekai's mouth released it's hold with the change though and he shifted his position with the same fluid grace as he had when making his climb to the bar counter. Both hands slapped at the hard floor beneath them and his legs curled in to his body in a crouch like a runner's starting position to brace his own body weight from Dorian's. Blood ran freely from his mouth coating his chin and running down his neck, he moved his head to the side and made a sweeping gesture with his shoulder to wipe it away but it only served to smear it. He wasn't truly paying attention since his attention was elsewhere now.
New people.
Fresh blood.
Sekai had never hunted nor did he have the urge to before tonight but his focus was knocked just slightly and allowed for him to take it others things. The boy didn't have the chance to last time, no, last time it was just the two of them with no possible way for others to interrupt but now it was different. Leaning up he took in a deep breath. If he moved now he could catch them before the left the property and so he did. Pushing off the floor the young Dhampir gripped the edge of the counter and used one of the shelves as a foot hold to push him up and over the counter, easily landing on the other side of it and pursuing the small group to the tavern door. They had already walked through it and his hand went for the door knob knowing full well that darkness that laid like a heavy blanket over the land outside the door.
