Dorian hadn't called the bouncer in to work today. The entry way would stay unlocked and he would have redirected the traffic to come into the Imaginary part of Temptations. Reality side was locked and the lights that usually were lit, would be turned off to discourage those to go the wrong way. The podium that usually housed the bouncers were empty and the soft moody music played softly above anyone that would come in. He usually wasn't open this early but he figured someone always needed a drink for something, at any time and there as no law as to when he could open and serve.
He wore a white short sleeve button up, a vest thrown over it casually and left open. The boy tie he wore laid lop sided under his chin and the smell of a cigarette hung the side of his lips. The small santa clause like reading glasses laid low on his nose as he snapped the newspaper to straighten it out and going into reading about what was going on in the city. Random building destroyed, some muggings, and what not. The usual was going on, nothing interested him in the least. Boy did Dorian wish something interesting would happen today.
He removed his reading glasses with a sigh and folded the newspaper and set it on the end of the bar counter. Looking around the bar area, the few patrons that had started to frequent were here to read the news, enjoy the quietness, and have a drink, made him wonder if maybe he should open one of those cigar places like they did in the other countries. No talking and speaking, just quietness. Well that would kill the mystery thing he did behind his little door there. At the thought of the door he glanced behind him as if expecting that wooden door to be open and someone sneaking in. Of course that wouldn't be possible since it was locked but didn't have a keyhole to lock it. There was just a knob there.
Turning back around a man stood there waiting for his next drink. Dorian smiled happily and poured the man a new drink before marking a mark on his tab sheet and went back to cleaning the glasses and counters. The smile had dropped from his face when he turned his back and a small irritated look came across his face as a thought crossed his mind.
