Private Finished nature speaks

Michi silently cheered, clapping soundlessly with a faint smile on her lips as Linus turned around to lead her to the hideaway. She obediently followed behind him, looking around them as they walked. She always wondered how large the school was ever since she set foot in it and she'd always wondered where she could go if she wanted complete isolation. Or just really a place she could sit around in and forget when time passes. "Say. You said you worked here, right?" she began, turning her sight back to him, "How long have you been here? On the island I mean."

The echoes of their footsteps rung in Michi's head, almost flooding out the soft whispers in her mind. While the reduced visibility inside the tunnels was supposed to make the voice seem louder, the echoes around them seemed to distract her enough. "I mean, gardening sounds like a good past time, doesn't it?" Michi said. If it weren't for the fact there was only two of them there, it would have looked like Michi wasn't speaking to Linus since her eyes were wandering. "I kind of wouldn't mind working in the school grounds actually." As Linus led the way, Michi's gaze was trying to peer through the dimly lit corridors, quietly wondering where those other ways led to. Once they arrived to their destination, Michi stood there, her expression unreadable as she stepped forward. It was a small and enclosed, and that was comforting for her. She reached on of the walls and crouched down. After a few seconds of silence, she turned her head towards Linus, "This is actually pretty nice though. Have you ever though of personalizing this spot?"

Michi followed his gesture to a lone stool sitting in the corner of the space and she wondered if he ever considered adding more. Then again, he probably didn't bring guests in to add a whole table set. Still, Michi thought that would be pretty cute and would probably make this space feel less... empty. She stood up from her sitting position and walked towards the stool, dusting it lightly before turning back to Linus. "Well, you did say it's an unused space -- I don't think they'd notice if you add a couple more stools here. Maybe a little table, something to decorate these old boring walls. Might be nice to keep stuff here too." She have him a scheming smile, "I don't think anyone's gonna know?"

Michi was already planning far ahead, wondering what mini table set would be nice here and what kind of shelf could go nice there, wondering if there were some timber from the forest nearby that could be used for those. Her train of thought came to a halt once Linus spoke up and Michi gave him a thoughtful look. "Well, when you put it that way." There was no way Michi could have it in her to turn this space a little more comfortable if Linus felt otherwise. She didn't mind empty either but somewhere else to sit would be nice if she was going to spend a few minutes in here. Maybe she'll think about dragging a log to use as a bench or something. Though she was definitely considering keeping a couple of books in here if she was going to hang around the place for a few hours in between. "So you just go here to pass the time?" she asked him, her gaze turning to scale the walls surrounding the space.

MIchi just watched Linus comfortably take his place at the center of the ground, looking up towards the sky like it was no one's business. Well, it was no one's business, at all, and neither was it hers, but she let out a soft chuckle seeing this guy look so calm. "That's nice." She inspected the walls around, trying to see if there was anything possibly hidden amongst it -- perhaps an old artifact hidden under the dust and age. That would have been interesting. As she did so, LInus spoke up, asking her another question she raised her eyebrow to. She turned to him, and while he didn't look at her, she knew he had a look of suspicion on her. "Well," she pondered. Technically, using her ability on people was illegal. She wasn't using it on anyone, and she wasn't even planning to use it. But ever since then, she was too scared to even just sing as she used to do. It was her whole thing and having her curse be tied to closely too her singing made her fear her own passion for music. "It's not really illegal. I just. Don't want people to hear if I could get in trouble."
