Looking for the typical starter gear:

A roommate: Piper won't eat your food, but she might try to sleep with you.

Romantic interest: an object of her affections. Does not have to be mutual or exclusive.

A nemesis: someone to hate and possibly want to do naughty things to. But make no mistake, you are her inferior.

While I doubt that starlight academy has coed dorms, thus making the first choice unfeasible, Murphy might make for a suitable friend or nemesis of sorts. It seems both characters are focusing on two very different higher level cognition classes and it might be interesting to see how the opinions of a Computational Neuroscientist and a Cryptographer differ.
